Hey guys . does anyone know if rifleman effects shotguns by chance? I want to go shotguns pretty regularly but can't seem to find perks that affect them specifically. If rifleman does it would be amazing.

Almost certain it does. Haven't checked right after I pick a rank in rifleman but my shotgun keeps getting stronger so it must be affected by rifleman.
