Shotguns are destroying this game.

I was in a server tonight where 10 of the 16 people were using the Jackal w extended mag auto armor, point fire enhance, and rapid fire. Does it take any less skill to play this game? My god, I love this game as much as the next guy but what is going on here? The Assault Rifles svck so **** bad that everyone in the game everyone uses shotguns now, and a perk called Auto Armor. If you want to shoot anything Medium-to-long range it has to be either the Bow or Gauss. And even then those people complain about being One Hit Killed so they run Noob Ar..excuse me Auto Armor.

The balance in this game is like in it's infancy, I'm wondering how many games in house the devs played. But I know one thing the way the Devs play each other is not the same way it's played online. People going all the way to level 50 using the #2 Pre-set Class. If you don't know thats the one with the Marshall.

I don't want to beat you down, but these are some of the most uninspired modules or perks I might have ever seen. And when you unlocked it to no longer have seperate perks by category you opened a whole can of worms. I don't think that was planned in the initial design of the modules, I think you guys removed the category thing a few months prior and never really thought it through.

I love Crysis and want it to succeed in sales, and see more from the IP, but this Multiplayer is unbalanced as hell, it is fast paced, more fast than a lot of other shooters today, but it is slower than Crysis 2. That I do not like. **** man, I really want this game to be good and fun, but shotguns are destroying it. I don't want to have to resort to using Shotguns and Auto-Armor just because everyone else is using it.

I have no problem beating anybody with AJ, Marshall, Auto-Armor (also known as "Noob Armor" according to whiners).

Squad up and show them who the boss is.

Chilax, we've already had patch B one week after release, if everything goes smooth patch C will address these issues.

Thanks you guys are right, I need to chill, and they have been on top of patching. I was just in one of "those" games where it was New Jackal City.

Shotguns make the game a hell of a lot easier to play for the below reasons:

> They don't need crazy attachments to be good
> Did I mention they don't need crazy attachments to be effective?
> Meanwhile with Assault Rifles if you don't have foregrip, match/muzzle, ext mag, laser, etc you might as well be holding a fork
> Hip fire a lot quicker and easier to aim than ironsight
> 1/2-shot capability
> The suit's incredible mobility making it easy to flank and get close to people

Marshall has already been nerfed, I will not agree to any more nerfs.

Jackal needs tweaking. It's range is too long for a shotugn, allows for a huge margin of error due to a big magazine (even bigger with ext mag) and it's fire rate is too high. Obviously you don't want to nerf all 3 of those aspects at the same time, it's up to Crytek how to deal with it.
