Video card. If you like nvidia go for a gtx 460 (value) or a gtx570(performance without absurd price). Otherwise I believe the 6850 (value) or 6950 (performance without ....) are by far the best amd card choices

if you are expecting proper MP, seriously reconsider about purchasing this game.

unless you're super patient about rampant hackers ruining MPs and slow response on crytek's side.

Gtx460 would be close I'd imagine with AA + AF on.
You probably want to go higher like 6870 or gtx470.

I've got:

Athlon64 X2 6000+ 3ghz
4gb DDR2
Geforce GTX 460 SE 1GB

and I can run Crysis 2 maxed at 1680x1050 just fine.

1) Just get a new GPU, dont touch the CPU or RAM, theyre fine

2) Keep in mind some people cant get on multiplayer, not to mention it sounds like cheaters dont get banned.

Phenom II X4 940 3GHz
8gb DDR2
Radeon 4870 512mb Crossfire
Vista 64bit

Resolution: 1280x720
Extreme settings
No AA, SSAO or Motion blur.

Runs fine for me. AA and especially SSAO consume a lot of fps so you may want to turn those off if you want a better experience. Granted, I usually play games at 1920x1080 but that requires my second 4870 and this game doesn't support multi gpu without screen flicker so I'm forced into 720p if I want a smooth experience with quality graphics.
