You're talking to the wrong people - the ones who don't allow modding on consoles are Sony and Microsoft.

Could always put a couple £ $ € to the side every week and save up for a PC.

I'll probably ascend to PChood in march and get me those unofficial patches.

Fixed.

To be honest, I'm not sure I want it. I voted yes because damn it, they've got so much stuff to fix. On the other hand we could get another "patch" that will just break more stuff.

There is.

True. They are not that hard to find, but you won't find it on this site.

Beth could easily have put in something that would allow console users the option to work on fixing stuff. They didn't.

not legal though. it is up to Sony/microsoft to allow mods and they have said (repeatedly) no. Nintendo has gone as far as to Brick hacked wiis/wii Us on update (of which i find hilarious)

You want mods? Buy the PC version of the game.

Even if Sony and M$ allowed mods on consoles (which is very very unlikely), there's still a heap of issues to tackle. Mods are not simple download & play -plugs. They require management and that effectively requires third party tools. Not allowed on consoles. Some mods also require script extenders to fuction at all. Never will those be seen on consoles.

They should patch the blessing of Talos. It still gives 0% cooldown reduction for shouts. I don't know why it hasn't been patch yet.

I think the blessing works as 20% but just displays 0%.

I never said it was, but then again legality hasn't stopped me from doing a number of things in my life as I'm sure many others are the same way. The double unofficial stuff for consoles wouldn't be out there if legality was the be-all end-all. I couldn't care less about the legality in this particular instance. All I'm saying is the option is there. Just annoys me a bit when people complain about it not being possible when in fact it is. Though officially I would never suggest anyone to do something illegal. That would just be stupid.

I wasn't talking about mods.

Sony and Microsoft do this too (but are more likely to ban accounts than actual systems, though I admit I'm not at all familiar with how that works...never been banned system or account), but why are we talking about Nintendo here? They are irrelevant in this discussion. On top of that, it's a lot harder to detect those systems when the games are not online multiplayer.

No! Why? Well I have 10 million mods installed at the moment and my Skyrim works and looks just lovely. Don't mess up a good thing.

When the patches also create huge bugs and mess up mods, saying No has a very good reasoning

One would assume that they would test their games before releasing patches. =(

I'd rather they spent the t-t-time fixing P-P-Papyrus script execution Sir.

Or rep-p-placing the game engine entire for T-T-TESVI.

H-h-ho, ho, h-h-h-o.

Normally, I would say "that would be cool but I'd rather has them focus on TESVI" but since they are most likly working on fallout, well I honestly find that type of game boring. So I'd prefer a patch to hold me off longer. Not gonna happen though. I'd honestly rebuy the game if they fixed all the problems.

They should make the unofficial patch official and release it to us console users.

Re-Release for Xbox One and PS4 (sort of like Tomb Raider Definative Version). I assume they could release a PC 64bit EXE at the same time.

Consoles get the pretty graphics they're missing.

PC's get to go past the 3.2gb limit; modder's have and will continue to take care of the rest.
