Should I buy Fallout 4 on the PC or the PS4?

Just as the title says, but before the PC MASTER RACE or the Sony [censored] come to start a gang war in the reply section, there are a few things one needs to keep in mind.

First of all, I can only run Fallout 4 on medium to medium-high settings, however I have a gaming laptop that would allow me to carry the game around with me.

My laptop specs are:

Processor: Intel Core i7-5700HQ 2.70GHz

GPU: Nvidia GTX 950M

Ram: 8GB

Get both, that's what I do. I have a really nice gaming rig but there is nothing like sitting back in a couch and kill some super mutants. I only have it on pc for the mods. And if you want to mod the game in the future I would go with a pc. But medium graphics are slightly worse than ps4 graphics so either or is a win win.

I agree with Puppy. I've always gotten my Bethesda games for both PC and console for the reasons Puppy gave. I play on fhe PC for mods and my console for kicking back on the couch. Best of both worlds.

you can do that with only the PC though, just hook up the PC to a TV screen, plug in a controller to the PC and congrats.

I joke about the whole PC master race thing, but it is in part because consoles literally cannot do anything that the PC cannot.

Also, thanks to mod support, PC versions of beth games tend to have "unoffical patches" which fix tons of bugs that beth does not. While console IS getting mods, it is likely going to be severly limited.

I'm running my copy of Fallout 4 on a gaming laptop with lower specs than yours (except more ram) at high stettings (not maxed but looks good) and it has been fine. Obviously results may vary, but just a thought.

Also, before my ps4 died my original plan was to buy a copy for that and then buy a PC GOTY copy a year or so from now once mods were established. Play the vanilla base game, then a full DLC and modded game for a new experience.

I play on PC with feet up and flat screen. I use an Xpadded 360 controller for all the KB/M functions like the 12 hotkeys, auto move, toggle always run etc..

Hmmm, not easy to to say either do this do that :) Do you want the freeom to play it on the laptop more than "easiness" of not caring about specs on the PS4? You could buy both of course, but that depends on if you can afford that or not. My personal experience on having a game on two systems is though, that I play on one and not on the other, but that is as said, personal.

I guess that its between the "carryability" or the "ease of not-to-think-of-specs" for you :D
