I don't know if this topic has been raised before so I apologize if it's a common suggestion in the forum but I was wondering if anyone else would like to see the characters and story from Fallout 1 & 2 get remade. After all they remake movies so why not games?

It has been brought up before. The answer was basically no, and some people like to make the reason heard,

They should be remade only if the games are virtually identical to the originals except with 3d graphics instead of the 2.5d. If they were done in the same style as 3 and NV the games would have to overhaul SPECIAL so that it has more impact on skills, skills have a higher limit and the number of points used per skill upgrade increases after 100, keep all of the original dialogue and ways of doing quests, etc...

EDIT: In other words they would have to make it an RPG instead of a TES sandbox game hehe bliviongate:

No. Make something new. It has come up many times and I have said it every time NO. It would not be the same game. Bethesda would cut out alot of the content from the originals. Just leave the Originals alone. svck it up and deal with the "old" graphics. I have seen alot of people say they would not play it but ended up playing them and loved them.

So once again (I know it will not be the last time) NO.
