Should I get Fallout 3 GOTY

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 4:31 am

I bought the original Fallout 3 like a month after it came out and never really got into it. Then I bought New Vegas and loved it and dumped nearly 100 hours in the game, so I went back to Fallout 3 to play the quests. That being said, I don't have any of the dlc for Fallout 3 nor do I have Fallout 3 on Steam. Are the five DLC worth 30 dollars? Money isn't an issue, but I was just curious if the five dlc are worth five dollars

I'd say so. Broken Steel and Point Lookout really add to the game, and the others are nice to have, too.

Yeah, they are definitely worth it. They add a lot of extra quests, maps and cool weapons & armour to the game.

Yep i'd get it.

Operation anchorage - The worst out of the 5 but it's still fun, and get some nice gear.

The pitt - The best DLC out off them all and some cool new weapons.

Broken steel - Is pretty good takes the level cap to 30 and allows play after main quest.

Point lookout - Really good almost as good as the pitt.

Mothership zeta - The marmite you either love it or hate it.

Yes the DLC's are great Mothership Zeta give's you new enemies and weapons.
The pitt has an unique setting also new weapons a nice story and some moral dilemma's.
Broken steel let's you continue after the main story and is also about choices,it also raises your level cap to 30
Point lookout has a lot of content and a whole new map to explore.
Operation anchorage is something different then the others it's not really a RPG more a shooter
but afterwards you get the best armor in the game.

Yes. Each DLC by itself is 10 dollars so if you bought each separately you would be paying more. I got it when it was 60 dollars but it was worth every penny.

Operation Anchorage - Enter a military simulation and fight in the liberation of Anchorage, Alaska from its Chinese Communist invaders.

The Pitt - Travel to the post-apocalyptic remains of Pittsburgh and become embroiled in a conflict between slaves and their raider masters.

Broken Steel - Increase your level cap to 30, and finish the fight against the Enclave remnants alongside Liberty Prime.

Point Lookout - Embark on a mysterious and open-ended adventure in a huge, murky swampland alongside the coast of Maryland.

Mothership Zeta - Defy hostile alien abductors and fight your way off the alien mothership, orbiting miles above the Capital Wasteland.
