Well I love FO3 for the PS3, and now I have a new computer and I want to play it in Pc, my question is
if The game is going to run better in my PC than in my PS3?

My specs are:
OS. Windows Xp
Ram: 1 GB
Video Card: GeForce GT 220
CPU: AMD Athlon™ II X2 250 Processor

I doubt your going to like the graphics compared to your ps3. That is a pretty damn weak system.

The 220 is about the same power as the 9500 GT is. It'll play the game, the 9500 is by no means a bad card - but it simply isn't meant as a gaming card. It's probably worth it for mods and a better control scheme, but the graphics won't be going very high.

if you can upgrade, I'd absolutely recommend getting a midrange card (Nothing too expensive, less than $100 will get you a card that'll more than max the game out *with* heavy texture mods) and a bit more RAM. Not that 1GB isn't enough, but as soon as you start adding heavy mods the load will start adding up - and more RAM is always good. You could also use it as an excuse to upgrade to Windows 7, as it can make much better use of that RAM than XP can.

So yeah, I'd actually well underestimated the card. I still highly doubt you'll get a decent resolution out of it but you should easily match your PS3's 720p. Sounds worth a try, to me.

If you insist on getting Fallout 3 for that system then you will need Game Booster 2.3 and Fallout 3 Stutter Remover. I also recommend getting your system ready to PyFFI the meshes for architecture, clutter, dungeons, furniture, landscape.

"Game Booster" is never a necessary step, it is a mix of some small useful components (Stopping antiviruses, disabling the very few services that actually make even the slightest difference) and snakeoil crapware. You can do the useful things yourself.
F3SR, however, I can get behind.
