Should i get F1 or F2 : Fallout Series Discussion

so it does this stuff automacticly and you pretty much watch the fight and you cant do anything?

The only real "pauses" are when someone is shooting or dieing, people moving goes very quickly when combat speed it turned up.

most likely, the only problems modern computers have is with color problems, which can be fixed easily, and poor resolution in cinematics, which are few and far between.

So in F1 and F2. You like take turns killing things like in Runescape?? or World of warcraft(i dont know do you take turns in this?). So the other person shoots then you get a turn to shoot. Or is like fallout3 where you can just shoot all you want while the other enemy is shooting.

it is turn based, but the order of turns in a round depend on your stats, and it is very dynamic turn based.

Yes. They are classic turn-based CRPGs with emphasis on tactics as opposed to the modern NextGen RPGs with emphasis on reaction.

yah i seen the gameplay it just looks like the one person shoots then you shoot and so on. Back and forth.

Lol i like them type. As long as i have a gun to shoot BACK!! Is there alot of guns in F1 or F2.?

A fair few, in F2 it can be a pain in the [censored] to get your first real gun in my own experience, I just go down to The Den (real close to the starting location) and kill this merchant who rarely fights back and is a real bastard anyway, nobody care's. Note if you do go hostile in the Den though have combat speed at max and tick walking speed too just to be sure, full of junkies who talk fovever to do a turn.

Yeah but not for armour, armour must be bought or found in storage, bodies hold everything else though.

Yes, you can, in combat it takes 3 AP, but you may not be able to loot armor, such as Power Armor, but you can loot Leather Armor, from my experience.

I've played both after FO3 and think they're 10x better than that game. Theyre good if you're smart. FO2 is my favorite.

Actually No. The second amendment was abolished right after WWII.
Before the great war, gun possession (no matter whether private or in the military) was punishable by deportation to Canada.

In true fallout games people actually solve their disputes in sumo matches: the opponent who falls out of the ring has lost. :poke:

Plenty of guns in Fallout 1, even more in FO2, more than FO3 IIRC.

The originals are classics, they never get old, they are always engaging, they never seem to get overplayed, always something to do.

Yes like Cod 2 and Cod 3. Love the gameplay more in Cod 3 than in Cod 4, Cod5 , and Cod black ops.

No, you can take gecko pelts if you complete a certain quest in Fallout 2 though.

No, but they did release modding tools like the Fallout 2 mapper.
