If you've never heard of a roleplay wiki I would refer here to the http://falloutfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_Fanon_Wiki. It's fanon created wiki where any old Joe can create pages for their fictional characters that they've created in roleplay writing. They can also add things like pictures and stats to flesh out their own character. An example of one is http://falloutfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Riley_Alan. Even more examples can be found on their http://falloutfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Characters

Essentially the idea is that we could make a roleplay wiki to keep an archive of Elder scrolls Fan fiction. As well as our past characters we've used in our Roleplays we could make a wiki a lot similar to the example I made above.

There are a lot of good creations on this forum, and its hard to get noticed when your storys on the 1000th page of the board. Our own Roleplay Wiki would allow us to just simply type in the name of a story and get an entire summary of what its about. Maybe even make it so people can add links into their pages so it will take them automatically to the persons thread so they can read the story.

Also if people wanted a more detailed character sheets they could post in on the elder scrolls roleplay wiki and people would be able to flesh out their character more without the restrictions of these forums. Not only that but we could even discus the current roleplays up on the wiki that will be made without the mods coming in and locking the supplement thread up.

If you're wondering this is nothing like the uesp wiki. Which does not allow fan created lore and stories. It is an Elder scrolls fanon wiki, meaning its a made up collection of stories and characters that all function together like a regular video game wiki.

I have not made the wiki yet. But I'm wanting some feedback before I do make it.

my concern is though if these characters will persist? No point in putting them up and fleshing them out if we don't use them for rp ever again.

its more for fun than for business. Just like any other characters on the fallout roleplay people can put their favorite rp characters on the elder scrolls.

if it's just to display them for memories sake then i guess it works, and like you mentioned could post summarized versions of closed RPs for people to enjoy.

exactly. And if we didn't want to spam things up we could just remove them if the creator doesnt plan on keeping it.

I can't see any reason not to, as long as you get permission from the creators of the characters being posted. It would be nice having OOC discussion threads, to say the least.

Huh, would such a Wiki be usable for an Elder Scrolls RP on Second Life? I'm starting up a group and making avatars and such, so a Wiki could generate some interest.

No. The main problem with those things is that anyone can mess with them. ANYONE. I have a feeling that not everyone is content with this site and its inhabitants, and if they learn of this...

Anyone is welcome to come in and help put it together. But be warned anything that is related to not putting together the wiki such as adding character pages, ect. Will be deleted. We are not taking fanon pages right now.

First off that needs to be done is that the front page needs to be put together. I'm hoping you guys will come up with the widgets and portals. The page is pretty much empty right now so i'll need alot of people here.
