I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to run Skyrim on my PC because of my video card, I'm not sure however, I'll post my specs, maybe somebody else could help me out with it.

Processor: Intel® Pentium® D CPU @ 3.00GHz
RAM: 4.00GB (3.50 GB Usable)
System type: Windows 7 Enterprise SP1.

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS @ 1830MB.

I've tried can I run it and it seems that I can, but I'm really not too sure about it.

This game runs fine on older cards. Remember the Xbox and ps3 have hardware that was outdated in 2005, and the game is made to run well on them. I would give it a go. The UI is horrendous, but access to mods will be worth it.

I've never really tried gaming on my PC, but when I ever did, things ran slowly at certain times but then speeded up after a little while, if I am to buy Skyrim on it, I hope it won't be the same, cause it gets rather silly after a while.

On paper it seems like you should be able to run it. But if you had issues in the past who knows. The one advantage you have is if you buy it on 360 at least you know you will have no issues:) If you want to make the effort it will pay off on the PC in the long run.

For 2 reasons, already, you should make the switch.

1. Map Improved v1_2 by athfkarl
The one that increases zoom, removes cloud and blur.

2. 360 gamepad Hotkey mods.
Learn the layout of the controlmap.txt file. And customize your controls all the way to the sky.
When you have a proper control pad using up to 8 hotkeys seamlessly along side all the other functions it serves. You will see why.

You should also remember that you will never get any game that's developed for both PC and Xbox to look anywhere near as good on a console as the current generation of PCs. That's why all advertising show the PC version. Just remember to update all your drivers and you shouldn't have a problem with your PC spec.
