Don't get me wrong from the thread title, I love Crysis 2 but I'm having a few issues with the game.

I've been trying to avoid playing Black Ops as it's getting repetitive and boring so I went to local gamestore and purchased Crysis 2.

I enjoyed the campaign and but I'm finding it difficult to get into multiplayer games. I'm spending most of time waiting in lobbies for a decent game but so far, it's practically impossible to find one.

It could be that I live New Zealand where the majority are playing COD but I'm starting to hate Black Ops.
As I've stated before, I find COD boring and repetitive. The community that play the game play for stats and sit in corners all game.

Crysis 2 has been a blast but I can't stand using my freetime from Uni & Work just waiting for one lobby.

Unfortunately, I have come to point where I want to trade-in the game for something else but the other side is telling me to wait for patches to hopefully get me into lobbies much faster.

What do you guys think? Should I wait for a patch/hotfix or should I trade-in the game.

Do what you want. I suggest getting Battlefield 1943, it's great and $15.

Sell it if don't find decent games in MP.

Sorry to hear that you are on other side of world, if Crytek had dedicated servers, would have probably chance to play with rest of the world.

Sell it. You'll find something you like better in a few days (GAW 3, Brink, etc). "If it hurts when you do that, don't do that".

I was really enjoying Crysis 2 but I think I'm selling it for Brink.

Not because I dislike the game, but the majority I spend in that game is by myself in the lobby.

You guys are lucky to enjoy such a great game. I wish I was on your side of the world not worrying about finding lobbies.
I was a bit surprised that Crysis 2 didn't use EA servers, would have been a blast joining you guys in Capture the Relay or TDM.

I only got up to Level 11 in this game. Started at Level 5 (through the Limited Edition).

reach is fun in small doses

Ya Reach is fun but after a couple days i hav to take a break and go to another game like MW2 or crysis 2

Aw damn you guys make me wanna sell mine too.
I'm already losing hope for a patch that could fix alot of the problems im facing..

We're coming up on nearly an entire month waiting on this patch. All I can say is, it better be the holy grail of patches. Past a month, if all we see is a few slight bug/balancing changes, it'd pretty much be evidence that this game shipped incomplete.

Hoping that Crytek either learns heavily from this or just sticks to making PC games for Crysis 3 (if there will be one).
