I think it'd be cooler if when you mastered Conjuration, you could cast a spell to bind you and a Dremora together... I don't really know how it would work, but hey, thats all I got haha.

But if you were a Dremora, you'd probably be kicked off this plane of existence, or killed...

Pretty much this. They are the closest thing to a demon-race, but I don't think a playable demon-race will be in vanilla ES for a long time.

Daedra cannot die, but their spirit are returned to Oblivion if their physical form is destroyed to be made anew.

http://images.uesp.net/1/12/OB-NPC-Dremora_Valkynaz_Melee.jpg, they're pretty much the demon race, so to speak, in TES lore. They aren't playable unless you're on the PC though, where you can use mods :shrug:

EDIT: Looking at that image, and comparing to how my modded Dremoras are in OB just makes the vanilla ones look really, really bad
