Yes :) Both the XBOX and PS3 are amazing consoles with amazing exclusives. You will enjoy your XBOX just as much as your PS3.

No, don't do it. User friendly UI? I can't stand the UI. Looks like something that belongs on the Wii. It's clunky and childish. And great exclusives? That's something someone usually says about PS3. 360 has Fable, Halo, Gears. PS3 has God of War, Little Big Planet, Socom, Killzone, Infamous, Resistance, Uncharted..........

I have both consoles, but never use my 360. It doesn't have Blu Ray either. LA Noire is on 3 discs. Give me a break.

Well considering you only listed roughly 1/2 of the 360's exclusives and most of the PS3's you made your argument a bit biased, wouldn't you say?

Let's not forget the likes of Alan Wake etc...

Also I too find the 360's UI much more user-friendly. Call me crazy, but sifting through the media bar just isn't as easy as the channels on the 360. Not to mention the social aspects of the 360.

That and their service was not and has not to the best of my knowledge ever been down for a month due to hackers. 'Nuff said.

XMB is the easiest thing to navigate.

The 360's UI is essentially the XMB with more flash. :P About the only difference is that NXE's main categories are accessed by scrolling vertically, subcategories horizontally, where as XMB is the opposite.

Yes, I have both systems and thoroughly enjoy both but find the 360 to be slightly better.

awesome exclusives?

and also, i will be $60 richer for having free online gaming on PS3. I always found it annoying buying live when you can get it for free on PS3. and i know you can buy cheaper xbox live cards, but it's for a shorter amount of time. what is the point?

Both consoles have ups and downs. If I were to choose a console, I would usually go for Xbox (though I would always choose a PC over any console).
Hardware wise, they are both similar in performance. I mainly use the consoles for a wireless media client instead of gaming.
The PS3 has a Gbps NIC, but doesnt support 802.11n IIRC. The Xbox does support 802.11n, but the new slim models dont support it on the 5Ghz range. It all depends on what you want to do with it.

Only reason I'm on Xbox is because all my friends are on it.

And recently I like it more because t isn't hacked. :)

But if I had the money I would save for PC.

If you have extra money to throw away like that, yes. But there are not many Xbox exclusives I'd want anyways. And the controller svcks :P

Outside of the d-pad (which they fixed with the new controller), I love the 360 controller.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_xbox_360_games

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ps3_games

There is a list of games that I got when I was thinking of going to the PS3 from Xbox 360. Honestly I felt that the 360 is a little kids console because of the avatar they use. and because a lot of my advlt friends have a PS3.

But really it is up to you to choose what you feel is best. I had a lot of people on the forums tell me that both have their advantages over the other, but I decided with the PS3 because I liked the free gaming, the blueray player, being able to access the internet/netflix without having to pay for gold, and the exclusive games a little better.

But I know people that like the games on the 360 better and believe that the 360 runs better then the PS3, and like the UI better then the PS3's.

I personally prefer the xbox360. I like the controller, and the original xbox was the first system I bought with my own cash, so there is a bit of sentimental reason as well. Plus I prefer the multi-console games on the xbox.
That's not to say the ps3 is not great though. Blue-ray is sweet, and it can have better looking games. I would say get one, if you like them and most of your friends use one anyway.
