Should i take my weapons?

I'm going in OWB should i take my stuff with me or i will lose them?Also can i take Boone and Rex with me?

Well, after you arrive you get to use the Sink as you wish, so you might as well bring all your equipment with you...
Unfortunately, you can not take any followers/companions with you into any DLC areas

Actually, you can take any humanoid companion other than Boone to Big Mt.
