Should teleportation be in the Fallout series?

No I'm not talking about fast travel (as that's not teleportation) but rather the transportalponder seen in fallout new vegas http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Big_Mountain_Transportalponder!

I only just realized while talking to one of my subscribers on youtube that there is indeed canonical teleportation in the fallout series.Basically should this level of extravagant, advanced and largely fringe technology exist in a series like Fallout?

There were those teleportals in Mothership Zeta too. I don't see why not. They should just be rare though.

I am agains't both teleportation (canon one and fast-travel). Although i am more agains't fast-travel (which i could explain in lenghty way) than agains't extremelly limited use of an experimental not 100% safe canon tool of enhancing the travel speed for the sake of the plot. Still, no use is the highest level of limited use, and is the better.

Although, fast-travel definitally needs its own thread.

Fast travel isn't teleportation it's your character walking for hours on end but the journey is cut to save player boredom, this is implied with the world time advancing hours every journey. What would be the point of a teleportation device that took hours?

Aliens in general kind of usurp the whole theme and context of Fallout in the first place, I'm talking about the technology specifically and whether humans could have made this in the first place within the fallout universe. So some external factor like aliens shouldn't have an influence on such and for a series based on humanity shouldn't be there in the first place (but I digress).
