Should the Reachmen be the major inhabitants of the Reach? or do you think they are a savage race of murderers and Daedra worshippers who shouldn't have the reach?

....-agitated sigh.-

The Forsworn do not represent the Reachmen, they are a faction not the race and why it seems like most reachmen are forsworn it's because they've reached a breaking point of oppression where they view such drastic measures. They are not just "murderers and "devil" worshipers" as some would like to call them, they are a civilization that has it's own cultural values and religion. Just because they possibly worship Daedric princes doesn't mean they are a uncultured savages. The Dunmer, Orsimer and Ayleids all prove that line of thinking wrong.

The Reachmen are an actual civilization, a civilization that at one point held the Imperial city and ruled an empire.

i don't actually think they are murderers and evil Daedra worshippers, notice I said 'or do you think'. That does not automatically mean that is what I believe. I do think they were a civilised culture and I also believe that the Reachmen should have the Reach given back to them.

and btw thanks for the link I didn't know about that.

Sorry if it seemed like I was rude or whatever xD it's 3 am here and I'm tired.

As for ruling the Reach, they have every right to. They ruled it for ages, the Nords didn't actually start ruling it until Tiber Septim conquered it in the Tiber Wars. Skyrim should have showed off Reachmen religion and culture more in the game, thank god that Zenimax Online's team is actually writing lore that doesn't demonize them, we might even see the good sides of their religion and culture which I'm really looking forward too.

According to multiple firsthand ESO sources, the traditional Reachmen were far from nice people.

To be fair, all three texts have a very heavy Breton bias. And Flaccus tends to get himself into any and all trouble that a person could in a province. I'd be very surprised if the truth about your average reachman was close to these texts. After all, they ruled the Empire for a few generations.

Well unless you are implying the sources are outright fabrications, I don't really see what you mean. These books are all first hand recordings of what the Reachmen did, these people actually experienced these what are recorded in the book, there not like the First Pocket Guides which are blatantly ignorant and purposefully slanderous. It should also be noted that Abnur Tharn refers to the Longhouse Emperors as a brutish dynasty that ravished the Empire.
