There was going to be one, then it was cut before release. Probs cos of 11/11/11.

But yeah sure why not. More content like that would be nice, i don't really miss it though.

One of my favorite things from Oblivion, so yes I wish there had been one in Skyrim.

I was thinking that before they decided to pull the plug on Skyrim, they should've added the arena that was originally intended so I can constantly combat the creatures and people of the world whenever I wish.

It would've been simple to add as I remember people finding the model in game somewhere so all they had to do was add the contestants and such

I recall reading around these parts months ago that someone(s) were working on restoring that content as a mod. Haven't heard mention of it since I started posting here again so I dunno if it is done or not.

welcome new guy ha. What people speculate is that they had to cut some content to get the game on the shelves for a fancy release date of 11/11/11. I say I would've waited for the fancy 12/12/12 had they exterminated all the bugs and kept the arena and all those side quests and such in game

they probably would have released it on 12,12,12 if it wasnt for the wierd 21st december 2012 end of the world thing. If they beleived that anyway.

Considering that most things that felt unfinished like, bards college, non upgradeable silver weapons, every guild etc were the result of a rushed release date, 11/11/11, and the numerous bugs/broken quests at release were also mostly a result of not enough testing due to the rush to release, yes 11/11/11 is the cause of quite a significant amount of problems that skyrim suffers from.

But of course this has been discussed to death and no amount of complaing is going to clean all the poop stains skyrim has now that beth has moved. Not that i'm mad that they've moved on or anything, i for one look forward to fallout 4. :D

I just hope future bethesda games arent given a release date which requires them to rush.

Nah, there's no cool dates that line up anymore for a century. :P Unless a new calender with more months is made...

I think now we can sit back, enjoy Skyrim and wait for a nice and smooth TES VI. :)

I don't play on PC, but it's not gonna happen for consoles for sure now. But you can basically make anything by modding, is there an arena based mod for Skyrim out there?
