Hi, i currently have 2GB of ram but was wondering if oblivion would run any better on 4, i dont think ive ever used more than 80% of my ram so is there any point?

Upgrading to 4GB is somewhat pointless when running a 32bit OS. You would only be able to use about 3GB of that not including your GPU memory. The game itself would not use more then about 1.5GB RAM, but as always, the OS will sort and maneuver memory around to get it the fastest. In short, more is better, but you will be limited to about 3GB.
