I should be working... but... F4

I'm certainly doing just that rn. Except it's kinda what I do at work all the time... Considering my boss spends most of her time at work browsing gossip sites, I don't feel guilty at all and don't even bother to hide it.

I got a warning a couple of weeks ago as all the PC's are monitored through a lan server. My manger asked me what Bethesda E3 was and why I was visiting that topic so many times.....LOL.....I told him it was a new type of truck I was thinking about buying, he told me to get back to work.

Lol scary! I feel like the manager should've added: "We're watching you. Scum."*

*Morrowind reference, I wasn't calling you scum.

Yea, my job fortunately turns a blind eye toward Internet usage mostly. I think they've adopted the notion to trust us when it comes to it as long as we get our job done.

I monitor network / system health as well as other maintenance tasks, so there's a lot of 'hurry up and wait'. One way or another, I'll fill my spare time with something - like reading up on fallout ;P

Some people on here i imagine are little too obsessive about the game though. Like it's the same spirit you see with day after Thanksgiving preperation - sort of romancing it to absurdum. I surely can relate with the mood, but objectively, it's best to not let turn into some sort of... idol - where it's interfering with too much.

Really, denying the excitement makes for a more wholesome experience, though, when you see enticing trailers like 'the wanderer', it makes it a bit hard to repress... my .02

Yeah there is actually somethig called "overdoing it" when it comes to F4. I myself like to think that i am an optimistic realist... so i often hope for the best and imagine everything F4 could be but the realist side of me knows that there are surely things that i will not like and Beth probably screwed up in some aspects of the game. Mods will fix all that and i am really excited about them... because, i heard that modders have more freedom this time as someone Beth said that "we want you to be able to break the game" so they only put in basic guards. So, i magine there will be more variety of mods than, for example, skyrim has. Beth probably knew that mods were like 70% of skyrims success... so making the system more mod friendly will surely benefit them.
