should you be able to move around HUD elements or disble the

For instance:

you want your health bar to take up less of the screen so you use a setting in options to make it smaller/ bigger using something like a HUD template
Or you want to move around/enlarge the arrow that points you towards your next objective.
Or you want to make your minimap smaller/bigger
basically the ingame option of making your own custom HUD.

I have to agree. The HUD's I have seen seem pretty good and I don't need anything else to push back the game.

I like hardcoe-modes without any HUD whatsoever. However, it would be sorta stupid to disable your HUD, if everyone else can still use it.

depends on the hud layout. if you feel that somthing does not need to be there than yes a hud customiser would be nice.

I heard something about elements of the HUD automatically disappearing when they're not used for a while.

I think you should be able to turn it on or off atleast. Or some basic templates/pre-made HUDs. Nothing too complicated.

That makes sense. I would like to see that.

Sure, I don't know why yould want to mess with something that the clearly perfect and omnipotent SD team created, but go ahead, if you turn your HUD off then i have an advantage.
