I'm more or less cool with the 'You're married!' angle at the start but I want the option of letting my freak flag fly AFTER the world has ended. From a player choice perspective this certainly makes sense. Beth says it likes player choice a whole lot. So anyway, do you think the option should be there? Do you think it already is and all this arm flailing is largely unnecessary?

Yah know guys nothing actually forces you to reply to these threads. And you're only upping your own frustration by doing so and keeping them on the front page. Taking up server capacity is a laughable concern. AAA gaming forums aren't generally known for their limited capacity. A single tweet from Bethesda or a Beth dev would also bring peace and succor back to these forums I imagine.

Since when did being gay mean you can't get married and have children too? I Had an uncle (now deceased) who was married once. I also have two female cousins who were both married, one of which produced a beautiful baby girl. I know another fellow who had a gorgeous wife and two beautiful children, yet gave it up to be with another man.

In a nutshell, be gay if want, nothing is stopping you from doing so

I've only made one thread on this topic and it was specifically made to test how people feel about the option of being gay AFTER the tutorial, not before like the other thread.

What I wanna know is whether people have a problem with mechanics in the game reflecting this. Like perks and dialogue options. Or whether they think such things should or have been included.

Yes I have a problem as long as it invades my gameplay. I don't want to end up with SURPIRSEBUTTSEKS scenes just caus I pressed the wrong dialogue option. As I've said, if gay options will be available (and there is no reason to assume there won't be) make sure these options are enabled through a clear choice.

LGBT? I assume you mean gay NPCs? Nah I am ok with those as long as I don't end up with gay scenes when interracting with them.

Oh please, server space is not limited, if you really feel it shouldn't be a topic stop replying, you're only making it worse. I would see it as kind of funny if all the topics were generally about the lack of gay inclusion. I'm waiting for a response from the devs, I really love Fallout and it's important to my interest, pre-order and enjoyment of the game I've been waiting forever for. It also seems like a much more possible thing to include than other features as it shouldn't require a whole reworking of gameplay systems, just a bit of writing really. Unless it is included already, which the devs could just say already! Everything else in the game like crafting and settlements look really fun, but it might mean nothing to me if I can't have immersion.

I would rather see the option of NOT having to express such stereotypical and not wholly accurate depictions of gayness. But yes, won't dismiss the option, diversity is great. However, if there were only one gay character in the game I hope it is isn't the arm-flailing kind, sorry ha. And thanks for creating the poll, interesting to see the difference with the other one.

Haha yes, kind of funny, well maybe now you see why WE don't want straight scenes forced on US. But I don't think forcing a gay six scene on you would ever happen, you have nothing to worry about.

Sometimes it is embaressing being a straight man when i see these things. God i am so glad i live in Canada where same six marriage is a non issue. hell the largest parade of any kind in Western canada is the Gay pride parade in Vancouver where the vast majority of the spectators, over half a million, are straight. Most canadians just honestly don't give a sh!t what gender you have six with.
