It was only a matter of time before I got round to this one!!

I get the gist of shouts, I get the words from Word Walls (and I recently got one from the Greybeards as well, buffing up my Unrelenting Force shout - cool!), and killing a dragon I can absorb it's soul. I just killed a dragon, and it did the absorby-thing, but my shouts are still the same. I've had a while called Become Ethereal (can't remember how I got it) but need the word Fade. So when I just killed this dragon, did nothing happen then, when I absorbs its soul?

Does all that make sense?
