Show and tell

I don't see a thread up for screen shots, so here we are. Should be self explanatory, post screen shots of any thing interesting or your character in a cool pose or what ever.

I really like the look of pretty much all the out fits i've found so far. One thing I do miss already from Fallout 3 is the ability to have a rotating view of your self in third person while aiming your gun. You can technically do it in this game, but you'll lower your gun after a few seconds and you have no control over it.

I took a couple of quick screenshots of my character in mid-action.

So how are you getting clean screenshots? How do you remove the HUD? Floating camera? Etc. Is it the same console commands as Skyrim?

The exact same console commands.

For those that don't know:

Go into 3rd person.

Hit the '~' key to open the console.

Type 'TFC' to toggle Free Camera on. You can type 'TFC 1' to freeze time.

Type 'TM' to toggle the HUD off. This also turns off the console hud, but is still there.

Hit the '~' key to close the console, move your camera where you wish, and take a screenshot.

Bring back up the console and reverse type in the commands to undo everything - TM, then TFC, etc.

Here's Dawson and a few scenics. Nope, didn't toggle the hud off. I always forget. I am using the Enhanced Wasteland ENB preset from the Nexus.
Screens taken on an i5-2500, GTX 960 4GB system on ultra settings and ugridstoload 9. I am actually VERy surprised at how stable FO4 is with higher ugrids compared to past games.

Wow. How long have you played with the uGridstoLoad at 11? Because I have a 980TI and Skyrim became just unstable enough to be annoying with uGrids set to 10.

A couple hours so far. I also had just did a complete wipe and reinstall of my system in preparation for FO4. Wiped my drive, installed Win7 fresh and spanking new and all my necessary programs. I also run game booster first and have my video card slightly overclocked. There is also a brand new Nvidia driver release optimized for FO4.

Anyone able to pull a couple of screenshots from the opening WWII video? Preferably in 1920 x 1080? I'd like to set that as my desktop.

Let's see who you're working with and anything you want to share about them. In only a few hours out the vault my guy went from a spandex wearing noob to a post apocalyptic pro. I've dubbed him the Red Dead Road Warrior :P

I'm only level 5 so not much to tell in the form of perks and equipment....my main weapons are a modified pipe pistol and knuckles (love punch splattering mole rat heads ha).

Just a shot of me cheesing the AI of one of the big scary monsters of the common wealth waste. this was before I realized the new jet affect offers a better alternative to hiding on top of rocks or where the AI can't reach me when I am in a jam.

Question, its probably a stupid question...

How do you get the Power Armor hooked up station there? Is there something I press or do I just put the PA in front of it and get out?

This is how I did it, I parked it in front of the station and then went into the crafting menu...it hooked itself up.

Haven't figured out how to craft dog armour yet, but it's probably possible. I found what dogmeats wearing on some raider dogs :D

I also read somewhere that some "human" gear can be equipped by dogmeat, haven't found any yet. However, if you found some you give the item to dogmeat first and then hoover over the item when it's in dogmeats inventory and there's and option to equip it if dogmeat can wear it.
