I haven't seen a comprehensive thread for people to show pictures of their wonderful creations, and I'd like to see what you guys have done to make the wasteland a more hospitable place. I'd post some of mine, but my settlements all svck.

I made a thread like this and not one person put a picture up... Don't know why. If anyone knows how to take a screenshot on the Xbox one I will post up my epic floating water fortress!

Double tap the big X button (home button) and then press Y for a screen shot or X to record the previous 30 seconds. It could be the other way around (x for screen y for record) not completely sure but that is how you do it.

No pics but my current thing is trying to get Hangman's Alley to work. I've built a central tower for housing leaving the ground floor to act as a bazaar of sorts. It is not a pretty place by no means but I dare say functional.

I've created a fortress town in Samctuary, but it isnmt done yet. I have a 2-3 block high cement wall surrounding pretty much the entire build able terrain.

Thanks, it's got a main street, square under the rocket legs, main entrance under the Nuka cola billboard that I haven't shown, I'll put a link to a video ands more pics when it's finished but it's taking forever...an enjoyable forever though.

Definitely a short video tour, would love to get some ideas.

So far I have specialised my settlements (one produces food only etc.) so a few of my places look like healthy farming communities... some, like the castle, is a hustle and bustle trading post filled with every type of store and then... there are the water producers who, the people, aren't required to work them so I build that scrapheap resource (Resources>Miscellaneous) and they just look like Chinese sweat shops, especially Taffington Boat House as I have the security turrets all on the roof and they look more like they are making sure nobody runs away from the settlement than to protect it...

I will post a picture tomorrow at some point.

That being said I wish these guys weren't unkillable. I wanted to conduct every collection of resource with a small game of what I was going to call "Fallout Roulette" where I ring the town bell in a random settlement, take position on a high position and headshot one settler. They would soon stop worrying about when they last cleaned their finger nails or if the freaking minute men are back or not.

A floating water fortress - that's awesome.

Thanks I am working on pictures now! It looks exactly like the floating water city from the movie waterworld; which I used for inspiration. I am glad they gave me tons of water space to build on.

Timing is everything! there is a thread with "show your character" and only 4 replies so far.

Get the screen shots to work on your Xbox and post that settlement! It sounds awesome!

That's really good. Like a sort of shantytown castle.

Started, cleaned-up and walled-off and put up defenses in Sanctuary and RedRocket. Think am going to use the drive-in as a Tower Fortress but waiting to check around some more. Guess this'll be my place holder for picks
