Hahah. I have scripted before but hardly did so. Though, from what I gathered it was rather simple for me. YET, Texturing, even with the help of real-high grade guides, is something I couldn't do to save my life plus the lives of a hundred others.. . Yet I still stubbornly try. hahaha

Why not just ask a skilled texture modder? o-o Theres plenty still around and I'm sure they'll be more then happy to help.

Good idea. I'll make an alternate morrowind install for Sunfall (already got like 4), so it doesn't matter much to me, but most people probably won't go to much trouble.

A separate, clean install is going to be a must for Sunfall. It's that boy on the playground that can't play dodge ball with the other kids because he's huge and every time he gets the ball, he takes out half the opposing team with one toss.

There's practically nothing I'm not going to touch in some way. All the vanilla interiors are gone, most of the vanilla cities are destroyed, the ruins are being completely replaced, the Grazelands are going to be home to Crafthold, the city dedicated to Sotha Sil, the West Gash will have Almalexia's city in it, Red Mountain is going to look like it exploded rather than erupted (which makes plenty sense, given that in the First Era, a Red Mountain eruption cracked the province of Morrowind in freaking half), there's going to be huge towering House Dagoth fortresses all over the place, and plenty more where that came from.

you don't think I have? Lol. I get confused by what they tell me too do, then or I run into a new problem and have to bug them again, which I am not keen on the idea of being a moron or nuisance to anyone here. I do want to keep a good image of myself and I also have a prideful thing where I don't like asking people for help too much, but will not hesitate if I desperately need too.

Hmmm I'm sure they'll understand if you ask them to explain it plainly in words you can understand (not calling you stupid, please don't think that)

I'll always prefer the Bloodworm Helm replacer you've already done Kalamestari, especially since that one came with seven different variations, which is more awesome than I can adequately describe. Find me another replacer mod of equal quality that offers that. I doubt there are any.

It definately seems solid as a design Calamari Kalamestari. And though I am well satisfied with the number of options available from you I can only assume you enjoy making so many. Because of that I thought a google search might give you some insperation if you were ever in want of any.

Theres guides like everywhere, TR has a pretty good one and I think theres a modding guide on PES
I'm not trusting the guides as the guide i followed made every dialogue that i made for my created npc's not work. and now i've had to delete the entire island. and the dialogue i write for my npc's still isn't showing up in the game.

that probably wasn't the guide. Also, you could of just removed all the changes you'd made in Enhanced Editor and kept the island. do you have a back-up?

I tried doing that and it didn't work. The dialogue i wrote for the butler in the house i made before i tried writing scripts for quests on the island works. but no other dialogue i wrote does. And no i deon't have a backup. [the butler and house were a different mod btw.

You need a few tips mate. 1- ALWAYS make backups. If mod means anything to you, make several.
2- always make a backup before you do something you didn't do before. Never experiment with stuff (like in your example a dialogue) in your only copy of the mod.
3rd before going nuts and deleting everything come here 1st and see if one of us can fix up the mess you've done, to save you a lot of time and heartache. :P

svcks to hear that though, don't give up!

Well yeah, follow a tutorial. :P There's too much to tell about in here, especially if we have no idea what you're on about. My 1st guess would probably be that you made a topic but nothing to show it up. You either need to add it via script, or make a greeting that mentions the topic title in it afaik, but I'm not the best person to give you dialogue advices.

Which tutorial were you following?

I've written dialogue before and all i had to do was put it in the npc's filter. i did the same with the island npc's but the dialogue doesn't show up.

Looks really nice with the textures Kalamestari.

btw i was searching for new creature models in Oblivion mods which i could convert and found this Thorn Elemental: http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/ThornElemental.jpg in Mart`sMonsterMod which uses completely new model and textures.

I also saw some really nice retextures of Oblivion`s Frost Atroncah in it,though they werent fitting well with this Thorn Elemental(dark spots everywhere due to diff UV Mapping) so i modified those textures to look fit with this models and here is how they are looking:

http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/ArcaneThornElemental.jpg
http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/EbonyThornElemental.jpg

http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/GlassThornGolem.jpg
http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/IronThornGolem.jpg
http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/LavaThornGolem.jpg
http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/TheHolyWraith/MagmaThornGolem.jpg

I have sent a PM to Martigen for permissions to convert them with new animations i will do,hope he gives the permissions as that will allow atmost 12 new creatures to be used in the mods.

For me it's even alright without any tribals at all. Or at least not that excessive.
