Both are good but the first one looks more wearable.

I like the 2nd helm more myself. Both of them are well done though.

I like the first one better, it fits the armor better and and as Hicks said, it look more wearable.

Dunmer Forts - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnoJ3Oj_GXg&feature=youtu.be

showing a unique feature: constant ambient loops and random soundeffects wich play in the whole cell at the same volume.

i cant make screenshots to show sounds so i keep making videos.

http://s1045.photobucket.com/albums/b455/MrStodern/?action=view¤t=tonal-aleft.jpg

This is meant to be a personal use mod, but if enough people like what I'm doing, I suppose I could release it.

Basically the idea is to convert all the Dwemer ruins in the game (minus Bamz-Amschend) so that they use the chainlink mesh tileset by Tchos. Takes a bit more work then just swapping all the vanilla pieces out for Tchos', as I have found. Aleft has had to be split into two separate sections, accessed by load doors, mainly because enshrouding the interior with cave room pieces just doesn't work thanks to the multi-level nature of the place. Others will be equally as difficult to convert, if not more so, I'm sure.

That pic was taken by Dana Nova Darko, as she has MGE and therefore can take prettier screenshots. There'll be plenty of variation in the different ruins, but that gives you the gist of it.

Leia's Duel Wield - v4

Leiawen released v3 of this excellent mod almost ten years ago, which features some very well-textured sets of weapons, one for left handed blocking and the other for right handed attack. The mod placed them in Balmora free for the taking, and promised that v4 would have them attached to ownerships and for sale. For various reasons, v3 was the last version released. So, I have contacted Leiawen after Mod Detectives found the contact email on wayback machine, and I have been given permissions to update this mod, and I will be receiving the original hi-res textures as well.

http://www.danadarko.com/morrowind/dualwield.jpg

I'm pretty happy about this because it was a mod that I used way back in '02, and after switching computers and losing mods and saves over the years, I had lost this mod and forgotten about it. It is an honor to be able to help this one stay alive.

From v3:
"Leia's Dual Wield Mod

New weapons are appearing in Vvardenfell! Stronger than steel yet lighter in weight, these fine weapons are forged by the Master Weaponsmiths of the Altmer. The High Elves always forge these weapons in pairs so that they may be wielded together, in a traditional Altmer fighting style.

One weapon is always balanced for attack, the other for defense. Rumors abound of more merchants bearing these matched pairs of runic weapons travelling north to Morrowind...Until then, the Fighter's Guild has managed to get their greedy little paws on a few."

It has a really interesting effect to it that you can't really show in screenshots... being able to vaguely see through the walls to other parts of the dungeon as you move along, and to see the rocks and lava that you built around it.

Personally, I'd rather see new ruins added, or new areas added, rather than changing all the existing ones this drastically, but I know this is your personal use mod, so it doesn't matter what I would want. Make sure you use this in parts of Sunfall, and I'm good. :D

I really don't mind, as long as the layout is exactly the same for all of them.

It has a really interesting effect to it that you can't really show in screenshots... being able to vaguely see through the walls to other parts of the dungeon as you move along, and to see the rocks and lava that you built around it.

I'm working on ways to better illuminate those outside areas, as well as make them more interesting to look at. The chainlink mesh definitely presents a lot of possibilities in terms of building Dwemer ruins. For example, I might be able to set one up to where the player can see areas of the ruin that are actually accessible.

Personally, I'd rather see new ruins added, or new areas added, rather than changing all the existing ones this drastically, but I know this is your personal use mod, so it doesn't matter what I would want. Make sure you use this in parts of Sunfall, and I'm good.

Some of the Dwemer ruins in Sunfall are going to be converted to use the Bamz-Amschend set, while the rest will most definitely be the chainlink variety.

I really don't mind, as long as the layout is exactly the same for all of them.

You mean you don't want any difference between the vanilla and modded layouts? Unfortunately, for a number of reasons, that's not possible. I can minimize it, but some layouts just don't work when converted unless one accounts for the conversion, which can require serious adjustments.

Glad I did something right! lol - I bet things have changed a lot since then!

But if you want me to add your facemod and the glass duelwield, let me know. I have plenty of space, and one of the points of my large mod is to celebrate some of the hard work from other modders of the past ten years. I'll take collaboration any day over praise.

Thanks!
