That'd be an awesome thing to have. I'm tired of the emptyness in the Abecean Sea.

I'm not going to stick to the lore much either. For example, the entire island is going to float above the water. Just because it can.

Wow. That means there is High Rock, Skyrim, Elsweyr, Morrowind, and Cyrodiil being worked on...

Are you working on High Rock and Elsweyr at the same time?

I guess that means Summerset Isle is up for grabs.

I think I'll do it after Sunfall, but I'm not going to make it a Morrowind mod. I'm going to use TES VI technology to bring the home of the Altmer to life.
i think youve got quite a bit of time to wait before bethesda release TES 6

That sounds pretty terrible.

Wolli is doing a good job on that Solstheim thing, I guess.
hey Scamp!
Wolli that looks awesome! Though I can see the dock - are you reworking that too?
those screens are 3 days old now. I've reworked the area the docks are now positioned at - today i'll expand it. I'm trying to finish Raven Rock today, but it's incredibly hard with all the scripted trees that vanish at certain events (IE: a new building gets made, or a piece of wall). I need 2 CS' open to place atleast 1-3 trees at a time.
I'll give a critic here. If that is High Rock, the map seems too simple. Those should be Wrothgarian mountains right? It looks more like Wrothgarian (although very high) hill. Check out how Vvardenfell's map has all shades of brown variating diferently.
Tonals got it right, but don't forget that the morrowind map only looks like that due to 2 years of being dragged and pulled by besthesda employees. Once highrock has it's own landscapes shaped by exterior workers it'll look the same.

I can tell that it's high by the colour of the map. From what I see, it goes from straight from light brown to dark brown almost black. You don't have to assure me or justify your cause to me, I gave my critic and you can take it or leave it.

Okie dokie. I just moved a dozen or more posts into trash, they were waaay off-topic. We have speculation threads for the next ES and FO games in their respective forums. And for whoever said that Bethesda was working on Prey2, they are a publisher for that game, not the developer.

I'm doubtful to say the least that you or anyone else can accurately discern the height of any given point of the landscape by how dark or light it is on the in-game map.

No, High Rock is...uhh, Gortwog's area. Elsweyr is Project: Outreach.

Sigh... I see this isn't leading nowhere. http://guidesmedia.ign.com/guides/14332/images/world-travel-all.jpg most people can see that highest areas are very dark while low-altitude areas are lighter shade of brown. I think that we can all agree on that.
wollibeebee, I thought that this is the place where one shows its WiPs to get comments on them, and sometimes comments can be some constructive criticism instead of all praise. If I was wrong, then disregard what I wrote.

Just a lot of nifscoping and pure MTB resourses.

With some Dwemeri retextures (it's a pity they don't always cover all textures I used):

I'm afraid you were, people, for some odd reason, have serious issues with constructive criticism on this forum. As someone here said before "everything offends everyone".

I welcome constructive crit as i said before. I didnt disagree with you. Was just explaining why it might not seem as mountainous as youd expect.
Wolli does have a point though, only the areas around Daggerfall city have been worked on by hand so i don't expect anywhere else to look done.
Seriously i don't know why this is still being discussed.

On a more WIP related note, the landmass itself matched up perfectly with P:C and SHOTN in location and scale. Apart from at the minute ive moved it to just below Vvardenfall in order to get the region editor to work. The only way to get the region editor to work is to load it without "Morrowind.esm" or to move it like i have. The reason for this is because its so far away and the region window isnt scrollable and has a limited zoom. Perhaps something for the OpenMW team? ha

The code patch extends the map just enough to accomodate TR. But thats kind of different to the region painter. Other province mods are going to have to wait for OpenMW to be well on its way before they get a working in-game map

I am thinking about working on a mod that adds Skyrim's Road-Events into Morrowind's Roads, though will changed accordingly to fit lore and all. Anyone have any suggestions on Events that will happen on the road?

I am also thinking about adding some events in town as well that has a low chance of spawning.

Solstheim will have its own events.

You see a "dead" man on the road then bandits jump in when you get too close?

Road merchants, random escort quests, guards, possibly hunting parties...

That would be a little tricky to do since the Bandits will have to be placed away from the body. This can cause issues where those bandits may get placed inside of a rock or tree. I'll see what I can do here.

Actually, it's quite easy. You can script the dead body so that when the player takes something from it, for example, it enables a group of bandits, in whatever locations you see fit, making it look as if they just jumped out of some bushes or something.

I love Disable/Enable, it has so many great uses.
