Very alpha retexturing of the horker (because I was bored that nobody took care of this awesome creature) (yes there is Darknut textures around for this, but I don't like these textures for the creatures):
http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/8666/horkerveryalpha.jpg

I have to get rid of the too seal effect of the fur.
What do you think?
Anyway, I will try with bear's fur to see the result on the horker.

I plan to redo all the Bloodmoon creature.
It will be more easy to redo the wolves and bears.
Any positive or negative comments before I continue my work on it?

Well, you said it was an alpha, so I wanted to reserve any comments until it was farther along. I like the whole bear fur idea, and besides that just fixing the seams (which you are probably already working on).

I kind of like the idea of its flesh being being really sleek like a sharks, with a row of curved razors running down its back. I want to see them and go: "Whoa, I'm not getting near THAT thing", not: "Aww, how cute..."

Horkers are peaceful animals, you aren't supposed to be scared of them..

In real life none of the seamammals (except whales and dolphins) are kind, cute or cuddly. Sea lions, Sea cows, Seals and all of those sorts, will fight you and hurt you if coming too close.

In real life, but Horkers are specifically stated to be peaceful unless you pester them.

Really neat! The only thing that I'd like to see is that the white "marble" could be a bit more worn. Otherwise great work :)

Hah, ein Fachwerkhaus (~half-timbered-house) .
This really reminds me of old buildings in my town.
But I have to agree with trance. A bit more worn would be good.
And probably more detail on the lower brick texture http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/9615/mgescreenshot030.jpg.

http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/1156/templari.jpg

I've always liked Templar armor, but haven't worn it much because it has to be modified in order to provide the kind of protection that's necessary later in the game (and available from other armor sets). And I don't really like to mess with the stats on things these days unless there's a mod out there that enhances the look of it. It's weird, but I feel as if any modification to a weapon or armor set through the CS just isn't as complete until the appearance has been upgraded as well. I found a modded Templar set that I liked a long time ago, but it killed my FPS, so I had to discard it. Granted, you don't normally encounter Templar armor very often in the game, but I wanted to change that, so it would've been a huge problem if I had.

So if you can give that armor a real nice treatment without it inducing a fit for my game/computer, I will be quite eager to download it. :)

Ok, im bit in a corner situation and i need feedback on what workaround i should go:

So gloves...

Looks good in 3rd person
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y233/Bahamut_ZERO/wipstuff/MGEScreenshot006.jpg

But not so good in 1st
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y233/Bahamut_ZERO/wipstuff/MGEScreenshot010.jpg

And i cant change that because it looks like only hands can used for swapable 1st person models,
and the gloves use wrist slot

So some workarounds:

1. Build in hands in the model, player would be required to swap the skin texture for the one he's reace use (less automated modern TES solution)
2. Make it full gloves,
3. Stay as it is, but as player spent much time in 1st person mode its probably crappiest solution
4. Bind the gloves to clavicle slot, they wont be shown in 1st person, leaving only clean hands
5. Got better idea? share pls

This is Triss' armor form The Witcher 2, CDProjekt allowed to use game's resources in things like mods. I'm still unsure if it is Bahamut's conversion, or Skyrim/Oblivion conversion.

The 2nd solution, full gloves, is a good compromise between keeping gloves on hands and full compatibility in first person view. ^_^

(...)

May be pain in the ass but how about a version for people who play in 1st person and people who play in 3rd? That way everyone would be happy! :P
