Now, now children. Play nice. Here's the fruits of a looong days work, with a few well placed slaps on the back of the head by AOF to get my mapping and texturing procedures and habits straightened out.http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y131/Skinjack/010.jpgOf course, that means I have to go back and fix what I cluster@#^%ed on the last two, but I'm pretty pleased with this one.

Very nice. Is that for personal use, or might that be released?

I just thought of something. It would probably be possible using something like TES3Command or whatever it's called to automate the process and lift every object in the world up by a relative amount. It would take ages to run though, having to parse every single object. But doable, should you want. You'd have to fix stuff like stairs and doorframes but it would get you started.

Yeah, I don't know anything about these technical programs. I guess it's almost possible to do almost everything with scripts & programs, but still - manually moving whatever objects remain partially submerged (or even buried) by the enlarged landmass would be a huge task. I doubt the author would walk away from that one still sane.

EPIC.

Eventually I hope to get these and all my other models released. I'm just very slow. And pretty lazy too. Its taken me forever to figure out the basics of mapping and texturing, so any progress is good progress.

Thanks! I'm glad you like it. :) Although someone could probably do a better texturing job than me... I hope to have a few variations if I can manage it... with designs and letters perhaps...

And if you really want tommorow I'll upload screens of my stunning new misc quest, with plenty of text and conditions, and if you're really lucky I might even show you some pictures of my stunning wall-o-text scripts!

Yeah, that's why I don't upload pictures.

The height map was a joke... drop it.

That looks nice! I could imagine this going well together with PirateLord's Redesigned Vivec. That mod is brilliant, but I was never a fan of the docks being repositioned.

Very nice docks, a city of importance as Vivec need something like this. Very appropriate.

I appreciate that. It was, however, a doable joke (if completely pointless).

That book rocks Chainy. Do vanilla books seriously only have 8 polygons?

I've just finished http://adul.net/mw/ironcuirass.jpg. I just removed the belt part, made it a little bit more bulky, and added the frontal ridge that I so adore in the vanilla iron cuirass. If you want this in your game, you can grab it from http://adul.net/mw/ironcuirass.zip. Credit goes to Jeremy McGuinn, Darknut, and Mr.Magic for the models and textures I've used as a base.

Looks good - though I think it would look better if the entire thing (or at least the part between the two foundation pieces) was made from ex_v_ parts and not the standard, wooden dock...

I just imported a random vanilla closed book to check and they have 53 verts/48 faces.. strangely enough, removing doubles reduces the count by 25....

Wow, I've been gone for a while. :hehe: Great work, everyone. :goodjob:

OK, for some time I've wanted a cavalier style hat, and since I (kinda) know how to model now, I decided to finally make one. :P

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y76/Caultus/cavalierhat.jpg

However, is there anyone here who can set-up meshes so that they take up a different body slot (left pauldron, BB left knee, et cetera) so that the hair slot isn't taken up? I know that it can be done, but I don't know how (even though I've read Smite-Plight's tutorial on the subject).
There are a few more meshes that I've made/will make that need the same treatment, so I don't need it done right away.

You can send it my way :) I made http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa289/spaceinvader91/Morrowind2009-10-2318-15-44-93.jpg for my bard a while back (it's available on http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=27800 if anyone's interested :P) that uses one of the pauldron slots, I can take a look at it.

If you want the Red Mountain to look more impressive, why not just increase the size of the Red Mountain, instead of the whole of Vvardenfell? Seriously.

Your island is looking good though Wolli.

With some software trickery, we can make it so, Red Mountain raises as you go further from it and never vanish. This can also simulate supposed curvature effects of the land. It can be done so Red Mountain could be visible from everywhere in Vvardenfell with MGE. I think that would be a nice addition for over the horizons scenery and might make lore guys happy. :) Quite magical.

Looks very cool. Are you planning on redoing the doors and docks as well? If not, I think they need to be retextured to match.
