Looks great. Good to see more and more bump mapping coming to Morrowind.

Here are some more screens of Vivec. Most of the exterior architecture is done. I still need to do the temple, palace, entrances and some bridge parts.
The effect is subtle and may not be fully noticeable in the screenshots, but in looks great ingame without making everything too shiny

Continuing with where AoF left off, I've been working on adding bumpmaps to the other armor pieces, as you may know. Well, I finally got the gauntlets working and took a video, and this is it! :D

Yeah, and probably squash it too. Although they'd make an interesting pear.

Someone needs to take more grammar classes...

That was meant in good jest wollibeebee. ;)

Your usage of beet instead of beat was amusing considering the vegetable nature of the two models. ^_^

Maybe our two cactus brothers can tag team against Dirnae's Dagoth Ur... without animation, I'm sure that he wouldn't put up much of a fight :P

You may have seen it as early as VI, if I'm not mistaken... now all I need is a desert to put him in...

These are a couple of models i am reworking for my forthcoming ancient city mod.

One is one of the arch models fom MJY's 'Roman city of Theopolis' mod so far i have depolynated the model reducing poly count by around 1700 surplus polys wothout losing any of the detail in the models shape.

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i109/Slartibartfast_2006/Morrowind/My%20Morrowind%20WIPs/1.jpg?t=1283684677

If you look carefully at the wireframes on each screenie you can see the simplicity of the second compared to the first, on the roof of the first there are 280 triangles doing the same as is being achieved by just 2 on the second. If you look at the compressed look of the textures on the pillars of the first , this effect is due to the texture tiling 26 times as opposed to one time only on my version , multiply that by 8 as there are 8 pillars in total which means your pc has to render that texture 200 times more than is necessary to cover the pillars, fewer polys and less tiling should mean less stress on processing power. It should look better when i have redone the UV mapping and found some different textures.

The other is a redux of Crazyboy's Trireme model. I am expecting to lower the poly count on this by around 12,000 polys eventually, there is still a lot of work to be done yet but this is where i am thus far. The redux is the one on the right if anyone is wondering.

Hey slarti, you've really revamped that boat, it looks great! I don't think you needed to tell anyone which was the redux though.
Oh and wolli, I still don't like those trees. :P But the forest is looking great, will it end up as a full blown mod or just a showcase?

A few shots of a new interior cell, the landscape model was made using one of SGMonkey's heightmaps.
