I've been messing around with giving Balmora a new http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/KorrowOfCheese/Morrowind/GateScreenshot.jpg. It's scripted so that it opens during the day and closes at night.

WOW!!!!! that is an awesome gate. please release that, and some smaller matching gates for the other side of the city too. those would be a must use for me.

Wow, that is unbelievable. Mind blowing, just amazing.

Thanks much. Been going through various frustrating stages of concepts, this is just another one, unless it turns out kickass. The tentacle look was last minute, just trying to make it look ominous.

Wow. Wasn't sure if this thread would take off like this. I hop around so much from one thing to another so often that i tend to hesitate to make new WIP threads so I figured at the least its a good idea for me. :P Nice to see that others find it useful as well and I always like watching people progress through projects. One can learn a lot just from watching how people go about doing things. :foodndrink:

yep sure! i've mainly been teaching my self (by reading what people's tips etc) and chainy has taught me quite a bit :hehe: but some proper tut's would be awesome.. and then i'll try and retexture the bottle's again :ahhh:
but thanks for that :celebration:

and kiteflyer, can we please not me this a request thread??

edit: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=4043 thats the armor and no it's not from oblivion but i nealy have it solved and i might get around to finishing the nord armor (cos that's another wip )

Here is a link to some nice tutorials:

http://racer445.com/

I thought I had book marked some others but I guess I didn't. :S I will see if I can find the others when i have time to do so.

Also, AOF, +2 to releasing those waterfall textures. Do they have some kind of special shine effect or summat? Ooh, ohh, and what about that retextured BC tree? Does it have any completed friends?

The water fall has a reflection and bump map which will be tweaked still before I upload them.

What BC tree? :o I do have a bark texture that I use for my BC trees that I never uploaded, did you see that somewhere?

Someone just wanted another excuse to post that awesome video.

Well I did start this thread to try to re-direct attention to this thread, in regards to the video, rather then derail Hrnchamds thread any further. However this has been an idea long before I posted the video. The idea I sorta stole from another forum I go to however. :whistling:

Cant wait to see more of peoples work. :foodndrink:

I have been altering the UV maps for the scamp. I posted a few shots in the screenshot thread, but it didn't seem to get much notice. *chuckle* Anyway, here are some before and after shots with different textures (it is most noticeable in the final two shots):

Vanilla, http://i46.tinypic.com/2wdq7te.jpg and http://i46.tinypic.com/ndo91.jpg.

Darknut, http://i45.tinypic.com/30icgnb.jpg and http://i48.tinypic.com/2zdx9vq.jpg.

Custom Mix, http://i48.tinypic.com/1zcdbo5.jpg and http://i48.tinypic.com/246qbyc.jpg.

As you may be able to see, I have tweaked the eyes, jaw, the inside of the mouth, and removed the teeth textures from what are obviously lips on the mesh. Any thoughts?

I downloaded your most recent AI mod and had a look at your trees and shrooms in NS. I like the insects buzzing around the mushrooms, but I was thinking it would be cool to have them as a separate object placed randomly around the AI's and BC especially. Just a thought for perhaps a future update.

Those are actually video tutorials. :whisper: I don't like to sit and read through tutorials, so whenever I am bored, or trying to remember how to do something, I look for video tutorials. :) I think it's a lot easier to actually watch somebody do whatever it is you are trying to do.

Is that part of a tongue texture on the lower lip in a couple of the screens, or is that area suppose to be part of his inner mouth? Anyway, the lips look much better now, the before looks like he tried, and failed miserably, at putting on lipstick.

No, there is definitely no tongue texture on the lower lip, that is just the inside of the mouth. Here are a couple of http://i47.tinypic.com/154vxuh.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/104mdmq.jpg. Oh, and here is a shot of http://i48.tinypic.com/15rgmfl.jpg.

Gee. what am I working on?... I'll give you the short list:

- A10 Arched set - cream plaster and wood paneling with deep red carpeting using version 2 of Oom's tileset.
- Arched version 2 of the following sets already released: A01, A02, A04, B01, B02, C02, & E03.
- A Redoran set with Bronze, light wood, plaster, and various types of stone.
- Furniture... LOTS of furniture.
- Magic / Alchemy lab stuff. Not giving details yet.
- More glass stuff. better than the first I think.
- Library type resources - bookshelves.
- ... and books to put in them. Lots of books.

Is that enough?

I probably ought to release some of the little houses I've done for myself. Maybe later...

This is something I threw together this morning. Not sure if this is the place for it-- it's just a random thing and I guess it's done, I just don't know how to implement it in-game. http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/5936/packracer.jpg A note, textures in this pic are connary's-- it'll use whatever textures you use in your game :)

That is great! I'm not quite sure of an application either... let us know if you think of one!

One of my "messing around" side projects, a Daedric http://i272.photobucket.com/albums/jj197/dagoth_jeff/DaedricShip.jpg it's on hold for now.

That looks very daedricy. I love the maw on it, you should definitely finish it.

I guess I'll post something of my own to contribute. I've had these sitting around for a while. I just haven't completed the set yet. They'll be included in Lyithdonea.

Nothing fancy. Some are the ones I use for the screenshots. Others are stuff I did for my own games. Mostly just eyecandy and a place to rest, make potions, and store stuff... Pretty much what I do at home come to think of it.

No pics yet. I am working on several projects, most of which will be released in at least two forms.

One series of projects are my fantasy RPG tribute mods and TC. I have the empty world esp done, and am working on the chargen part now. I have been accumulating lots of modder resources over the past several years, as well as a lot of great creative commons music.
Since my empty world esp is dependant on Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon, I am thinking that the interior cell worlds will be also possible to release as Morrowind mods as well.

Also that Chocobo mod as well. :)

Lots of interesting projects here :)
I love the Balmora Gate and the Daedric Ship, enjoyed at new Vurt shrooms screens and, Clavis, lots of work in that list... But very interesting proposals for a more enjoyable game :)

In my country we say "if you want the cookie, you have to bake the dough", and so I did with waterfalls... I loved as all of you the ones showed in AoF's video, and hell, can't achieve what he has done, but could do something to change the "solid and white" vanilla effect.
And I did http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc189/Zimnel_Redoran/Morrowind/MGE%20Morrowind%202010/Morrowind2010-06-2415-13-58-28.jpg This way I can wait for AoF's release more patiently ^ ^;

On the other hand I have my old Velothi house project.
I've been working on it for years, nothing that extensive, I wanted a house for my battlemage character and I did my own.
It's a "many things mesh" and that's why I never released it. Another reason it's because it's located in Balmora, and many mods will conflict.

Beautiful vista. Textures look top notch too. Something Valenwoody, perhaps?

I can't take credit for the textures, unfortunately. It is indeed Valenwoody, though.
