Just need to create readme now.

How many anims? Does it walk around, does it have attack anims? Or just stand there and sway like the original? Curious because a Silt Strider replacer like that with a realtime travel mod would be THE BEES KNEES!!! (I had to replace another word...)

Looking good, though the textures seem a bit bland. ;)

Excellent work on the new strider. I'll echo SWG and say that the texture could be improved, but it's the model and animation together that impresses me the most, and the main thing that matters to me; textures can always easily be improved upon. Again, great work.

The animation looks like default, his legs slowly moving up and down.

Iam not really a fan/g of texturing creatures, i hate those tiling problems, and iam not really like to draw textures, i think the photo ones is much better etc. If someone want to make better texture for it - i could give a link and gogoog.

I could give it a go, I have a UVmapping method in mind as well, so I got you covered I guess. :)

I just wanna help out making one of these things, but I'm not nearly a good enough modeler to make anything more than a few shapes that will frustrate me, in terms of something like a strider anyways. :P

I noticed that Photobucket shrunk my pics too recently. Don't know why I never noticed it before.... probably going to switch.

Don't recognize the sun, but I did notice the nice texture outline on the left side of the pic :D

Photobucket usually shrinks your pictures if they are over some file size, I forget what the per-picture size limit is. There's a bunch of settings you can change regarding that, but I'm not sure where they are anymore since the series of recent site redesigns over the past year. Faststone Photo Resizer is pretty handy for batch resizing and renaming of images, which is what I usually use to shrink down hi-res images (such as those from my camera).

you probably did, but i havent used your sky mod it'd probably kill my system! :o, might install it with Mash to see if it'll work, actually..

Just try it, the worst that can happen is you'll see big grey things instead of the sky textures, in which case you can just uninstall the sky textures/mesh. Though to be honest, my skies are garbage, the ones I'm currently working on are so much better than the oversized, repetitive, pixelated skies in version 3. May as well just install everything but the skies then go grab AoF's horizon cloud mesh.
/rant

BTW, the beaming sunglare port I had released (I made an improved port after, but never uploaded) was only included in v2, no sense downloading the 100+ Mb v3 package if that's all you want to check out, cause you won't find it on there.

haha! guess i'll wait then :P.
i've been meddling with skies recently, there's alot you can do to them in the ini, it's pretty cool to see what changing a few numbers can do.
i'll go take a look at your sunglare.

i kidnapped mine(someone elses) from here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3525

though it doesn't look AS GOOD because of the ini, the sun colour in most the weather settings is grayish (that i've seen). it looks very gray. :/

Sun Glare Fader Angle Max=30.0
also, is that what i think it is? when i set it to 40.0 it became harder to see the sunglare, so i'm guessing it set the angle of which the sun reaches your eye? (.. grammar fail there, i think.)

Oh, I know where it's from, I was just saying when I included it in skies v2 I made some edits to the texture so it would work better in Morrowind (different alpha, brighter texture, ect.).

About the INI, I'd have to mess with it myself, I haven't edited the INI in quite a while.

Sounds great, I've always wished that my characters could be left handed. Probably just my bias from being left handed, but either way!

That left-handed thing looks great! I am impressed. That simple change (at least from those pics) make everything that much better.

Sweet idea for a mod! Randomly applying it to NPCs in the construction set would be great for immersion!

I seldom get starstruck on the modding forums anymore but to see you turn up again is just great - your animations brought companion mods to life - hope you add some more great animations again - or even better take some requests :)
