Just try it, the worst that can happen is you'll see big grey things instead of the sky textures, in which case you can just uninstall the sky textures/mesh. Though to be honest, my skies are garbage, the ones I'm currently working on are so much better than the oversized, repetitive, pixelated skies in version 3. May as well just install everything but the skies then go grab AoF's horizon cloud mesh.

BTW, the beaming sunglare port I had released (I made an improved port after, but never uploaded) was only included in v2, no sense downloading the 100+ Mb v3 package if that's all you want to check out, cause you won't find it on there.
haha! guess i'll wait then
.
i've been meddling with skies recently, there's alot you can do to them in the ini, it's pretty cool to see what changing a few numbers can do.
i'll go take a look at your sunglare.
i kidnapped mine(someone elses) from here:
http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=3525
though it doesn't look AS GOOD because of the ini, the sun colour in most the weather settings is grayish (that i've seen). it looks very gray. :/
Sun Glare Fader Angle Max=30.0
also, is that what i think it is? when i set it to 40.0 it became harder to see the sunglare, so i'm guessing it set the angle of which the sun reaches your eye? (.. grammar fail there, i think.)
