Nice Apel, is that your own Argonia or you working with ZackG? The only thing I have to say is on EEW the bottom step has a stone texture except for the top plane which has a wooden one, this looks a bit awkward. I don't think they would have wood laminates in Argonia when that didn't appear IRL until recently.

Nice Apel, is that your own Argonia or you working with ZackG? The only thing I have to say is on EEW the bottom step has a stone texture except for the top plane which has a wooden one, this looks a bit awkward. I don't think they would have wood laminates in Argonia when that didn't appear IRL until recently.

Well, it could easily be a veneer, which is wood while laminate is synthetic. It's certainly a technology I can see in the universe since veneers are common in woodworking. I don't think it's a good idea to compare the technological timelines of Tamriel to ours. After all, highly sophisticated mechanical devices were made far before the finest clocks in our world could match.

Blink of an eye speed will let the player rediscover the secret of Passwall, if you get my drift. And they might not even pass it. I got there once, with the help of lethal doses of moon sugar. Got stuck in the side of a boat, I think. A boost of 200 speed should be manageable, even if it pushes you to 300. It's not what I would consider "blink of an eye" speed, even while running, but I think it will get you to your target quickly enough.

It does not look fine. It looks bad in fact. The rest of it looks fantastic but this part is bad, simply bad. Apel makes wonderful textures, but that step is simply bad.

As far as veneer vs laminate I was simply trying to find a nice way to say it looks bad, but thanks to you I'll just come out and say it.
