The new sword is great, Psy; really elegant while maintaining a formidable heft and balance :) .

Had some time to work on my BB/unique Corprus Stalkers, so I finished up
a few faces. This one is, perhaps, the "worst case" as the others display varying
degrees of the affliction.

@Dirnae: Decided to go for sharp edge design finally. The body I had before is not suitable for game issues. I will UV map a bb body new and make custom textures. Sadly this has to wait til octobre due to exams!!! :(

That is pretty cool. I am not a big sci-fi fan though.

Anyway, I am having a bit of trouble trying to decide what the materials are. I assume that the face is some sort of synthetic skin? The rest is either metal or plastic?

@AOF: It's some kind of flexible metal, but I'm not sure yet what the best way is to make metal for MW. You know, i could paint fotorealistic metal with all the shadows and reflections in it, but that would mean, it wouldn't react to movements ingame, like metal does. So I jus paint some vague suggestion and hope that the rest can be better simulatad through use of envy and gloss maps. Will have to test it out...

Better eye textures for phaedrus's billboard eyes.

PS: When I've finished my exams, i will make new UV maps for bb and bb beasts, it's a shame that great artists like Westly still have to work on these old distorted maps. It's time for something new. I suggest making at least one map for the body and one map for the extremities. AFAIK you guys all use Robert's heads these days, well that will be UV mapped new too then. ;)

EDIT: This means that all the old replacers will be useless, but hey, trees are improved, mushrooms are improved, so why running around with wacky bodies and heads in future???

I'm not making any changes to the mesh, just to make that clear and i also don't make new taxtures for all the races. Just better UVs for future artists!!!

i am continuing on my unique place binge. am now doing all the velothi domes making them more foreboding since they are almost all occupied by necromancers and vampires. for now i am using a modified version of Faylynns Ancient Velothi texture replacer. if i get permission i will post with it. otherwise i will make my own textures like i did with my ghostgate one. http://www.tesnexus.com/imageshare/image.php?id=65944. using tesnexus for pic since i am having some trouble with photobucket at the moment.

Edit: This is so much harder than I thought it would be, there are like 25-30ropes, another 25 or so knots and a about 15 sail rings that all need placed, scaled, and rotated precisely to look right, don't get me wrong, it will get done, but it might be a little while! :P
