I might actually use black ebony, since it actually makes sense that ebony be black. Nice looking armor there too :)

Some of you may remember in one of the previous threads that I was making a castle.... just for the fun of it and had made a http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y76/Caultus/porcullis3.jpg then had started on a wall crank to go along with it. Well today I decided to do a little more on it and came up with http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y76/Caultus/Castle/portculliscrank2a.jpg as a next step in the process. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y76/Caultus/Castle/portculliscrank2b.jpg

At first I thought about making a chain, but decided that a rope would be much easier to make. :bonk: Since I'm doing this completely off the top of my head it's a little dicey right now and I'm not sure which direction to take it (fit the rope around the shaft better, make piece that fits between the shaft and rope...).
I may just make a few more things and release these bits as a resource, or somehow find something to do with this castle. :P

I like where you are going with the rope - i suspect it is a bit loose at the moment - is it static or does it move?

It's purely static, animation isn't something that I can do; I'd rather try to do the scripting myself.
One of these days I'm going to try to modify the Ghostgate portcullis script and see if I can get it to work differently (activate switch once to open, activate switch a second time to close), but I may end up needing a second switch and a completely new script. That'll be much later though.

Nope, one switch should do it. I checked, the code works on timers. You should be able to add a state flag, and replace the timers with that.

Of course, I always like the way the ghost gate worked. I thought it made sense - given that you wanted to keep the nasty stuff in. ;)

heads, heads, and once again the heads .... I can't stop it <_<
They eyes closed, because it's so convenient to animate.

First link not working for me, but I like these heads a lot. What do you plan to do with them?

I will continue to chop off the Argonians heads, lol
I plan to unwrap it for a standard textures, make some alternative textures, animations, and release it as a plugin, hah.

Working on my blender/nifskope-fu. I wanted a fully functioning valve to add to the list of Dwemer-ish activators in my mod. This one properly opens and closes - and I even created a sound effect for it that is properly timed to its action.

If it's just the rope coil alone, that's great. It can just be resized to fit anything.

You can use the simple form and double-sided texture with an alpha channel for thin chains.
Something like this: http://s746.photobucket.com/albums/xx105/LiberumAvis/Others/?action=view¤t=1.jpg
I think it will look good in the game too.

Pretty damn cool, it's about time the argonians got some real attention, other than re-textures i mean.

Keep it up, look forward to seeing what you come up with.

Welcome to the Arena! version 5.0 progress:

- Red Team == 60% Done

Now all of the rangers of the arena are somewhat more smarter than before (E.G. You get too close to the ranger, he/she switches fighting style from ranged to melee.).

As for the Red Team, all of the fighters have been created. I just need to make some more scripts, dialogue, fixes etc...

Edit: Some of the fighters you face in the pit are actually people of the bloodworks (E.G. You are Red Team member, in some point you'll face Vinvanil Relas [ranger from blue team bloodworks]).

I have almost completed work on models... But I do not know how good I am in the texturing and most likely I'll look for a man who can make better use of these models than I do.
I tried to make a texture for one of them, but gave up this halfway.
