So we think some of our creatures are a little out-of-date... we've been working on replacing them.

Probably a good idea if a clearer closeup of the new model is provided:

While the updated Skyrender does indeed look fantastic, the creature really in need of an update is that damn Daedric Bat, which looks more like a cheap plastic toy than an actual creature.

Anyway, glad to hear that you're updating some of the old stuff...I personally kind of liked the original Skyrender, but this is far superior in every way. Definitely fits in much better than the original one did.

This isn't my original work, but i modified it to fit my tastes, its a re-texture of a re-texture of the Imperial Forts :P

All I did was make them grayer and darker than the original textures.

Theres 10 or so screenshots so I'll just link the album.

I agree with comments above, very nicely done.

Looks gorgeous! Have the animations had similar improvement? Very excited by your creatures revamp - had a peek at that new swamp troll and spider daedra, and they're looking great. Does Tamriel Rebuilt need any dialogue help? I'd love to help speed up the next release, but its really all I can do well..

Meshsmooth is evil! Better use of the turbosmooth ... This will help when you do unwrap because turbosmooth not makes triangles.
It looks a bit like a pig maybe becouse his back legs in knee-joint is wrong  , but I do not know how it should be this breed of dogs.

Perhaps make the stomach area a little thinner and narrower than the chest area, dogs tend to have pronounced rib cages to allow for their relatively large lungs, which gives them excellent stamina btw.

Though if this is a long hair breed it would be less noticable and therefore my suggestion would be pointless to implement..................

Sorry, I guess thats a bit OT, I tend to ramble when I think about anything, i'm sure it will come out looking fine no matter what you choose to do. :P

Really like your modification. Do you intend on releasing these? I've always wanted some good dark and gray fort textures. :D

Hmm now that you said that I think I might release them. :)

just have to work on some floor textures, they look to blueish gray and not gray.

Like somebody already told me- don't worry about what is your original work and what isn't, since they also only edited someone's texture or taken picture :P And hardly anyone from these forums are original photographers of the shot textures we see released on these boards.

Good point haha :P

I agree with comments above, very nicely done.

Thanks! :)

It's not all, the particles can follow a path, to gradually change shape, and so on ...

The output is 30 files in *.tga, with an alpha channel, with a looped animation, any number of frames and any speed of the animation...

Hey man, nice! You plan to release some resource pack of these or something? I'm sure many (including me) would have great use of this stuff!

of course ... Maybe I'll do a little tutorial on this subject, but I'm not sure about my English.
ha, 1 pack - about 30 minutes. Depends on the complexity of the rendering. I think it's much easier to write a lesson. There's only one problem - this can be done in Blender and 3D Max, but I do not know much render Blender. And may not be able to put on an automatic continuous rendering of each frame with the alpha and tga. In 3d Max, I simply tweak settings, press the button and go for coffee.

About to start organizing everything and then I'll upload it to PES. :)
