A WIP thread for the community.

This is a thread intended for the community as a whole. A place to show and discuss with the community what you are working on without the obligation that a "WIP" thread generally implies, for those who are just not quite to the point where their project warrants a formal "WIP" thread, or for whatever reason you might have for not wishing to start a "WIP" thread.

As this is in the Morrowind modding forum please keep whatever you are showing here limited to Morrowind mods or projects that you intend to implement into your game.

So, lets see what your up to.

Don't quite feel like making a full WIP thread yet, so I'll just leave this here for now :P

http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/5570/hortatorarmor.jpg

In short, the plan is to make a Knights of the Nine-type quest for Nerevar's lost armor, scattered across the island of Vvardenfell. We'll, eh, see how well it goes :P If/when I give up, y'all can have the meshes as a resource. It uses AoF's Indoril normal maps and vanilla textures :D And the armor has been designed to be faction-neutral (IE, no Temple imagery here).

Sounds cool. And very nice looking!

That helmet mesh sure is popular lately!

It would seem so...

I will make treant's mouth after reducing polygons.

Thanks! Yeah my mod is going to have "NPC" Twilights in it who I plan to have wearing various clothes and armor, completely integrated into society. Perhaps a little more intelligent than the common variety. ;)

I will try to post a few pictures in the middle of the night (after work), but I have been smoothing some meshes in the style of Armed Defender's "Mesh Improvements.". The Hlaalu ash pits, the potted plant, and various other things. Some of them are probably somewhat unecessary, and I think a few aren't even used in game, but it has been an interesting learning experience. Some interesting discoveries too - noticed that in furn burial 20 (which I use in "Better Skulls"), one side of the metal rings holding the rope has the skulls texture rather than the texture of the rest of the ring, and when I removed the old skulls, that portion went with them. Crazy eh?

Ooh, I like! Can't wait to see what you've got :)

I worked on a new race a few years ago with Redwoodtreesprite (a BB version of the Twilights with wings attached to the arms that never was released). So, with that on hand, I should make quick work of the base textures, but I do plan on making the overall textures from scratch again (relying on the vanilla look as "concept art" and taking them from there). The new textures will be high rez (at this point that's a given, I guess) and I will make new armour textures for them from scratch (and utilising armour parts that I have nut yet used but have been waiting for such a project for such to be integrated). Hopefully these will be out well before The Holidays (so that means before USA's Thanksgiving, fingers-crossed ;) ).

This isn't my original work, but i modified it to fit my tastes, its a re-texture of a re-texture of the Imperial Forts :P

All I did was make them grayer and darker than the original textures.

Theres 10 or so screenshots so I'll just link the album.

Really like your modification. Do you intend on releasing these? I've always wanted some good dark and gray fort textures. :D

Like somebody already told me- don't worry about what is your original work and what isn't, since they also only edited someone's texture or taken picture :P And hardly anyone from these forums are original photographers of the shot textures we see released on these boards.
