Yeah but there's a lot of gaps for people to fill however they want.

For example my character enlisted and then when she shipped home earned her diploma with the GI Bill.

Very inspirational to see so many great and different characters and looks. Keep 'em coming :tops:

I'm quite happy With how my own character turned out as well. Think I hit that line between looking good and tough as nails:

Then why play on survival? It's basically nothing else than just enemies take more hits to kill and you take less pretty much..

I wanna wear normal clothing looking like a real scavenger and not look like a damn tin can stuffed up in a robot armor. I just beat a Legendary Assaultron Invader wearing only a Scavenger Outfit (1 Damage Resistance, 0 Energy Res) on Normal difficulty and it gave me JUST the right amount of challenge, I really had to maneuver tactics for the boss fight to make it out alive (took me about 5-6 tries before I tackled _it_) .. I had only 2 frag mines (I don't carry more than I consider necessary for any single tight spot) and I had to plant them both, then I had to sneak my way close to it to acquire target and take a marksman headshot to jump the fight.. Then I had to kite it through the mines, after which I had to cripple the legs and take distance from it to avoid the destruction explosion (which would tear me apart any time I was even relatively close to it) and only then I could finish it off and make a run for it to survive the explosion. I had to use stimpacks and go on a rampage with a shotty but eventually it paid off. That's what I call proper challenge.

I don't see the point of playing on survival difficulty and bickering about only being able to wear the best gear ever invented in the game, I personally left all my good stuff in safe lockers and stocked up only 3 of my most trustworthy weapons with me. Makes the game alot more interesting.

Don't get me wrong, I usually always play on the highest possible difficulty since alot of games are too easy without it. But in FO4 it does nothing but makes the enemies unrealistically durable (shoot normal human beings in the head with a .50 rifle and they just studder, right.. :DD). If you want challenge without the game going from what it is to even more unrealistic, just drop down your difficulty to normal/hard and try wearing something else besides the best possible equipment in the game. it's just as hard but alot more realistic and ALOT more fun (due to all the possibilities with gearing etc).

I was playing it purely for the slow healing, switched to hard now, suddenly everything seems so easy xD

Supposed to look like me, but I can't get it quite right, I keep tinkering with it.

Wish we could alter the shape of the head it self instead of just the lower half, it's just always going to be to elongated like this. Also the longer goatee is a much closer fit to my RL facial hair but I can't get over that damned up-curled moustache.

And because I always need to have at least one grizzled old coot in my game, here is Mr. Jack Daniels.

What's a former Recon Sniper do when he has no sniper rifle? He makes one! After taking some time to dismantle and study some of the crude (but effective) weapons crafted by modern "gunsmiths," Jonah decided he could do just a little better. He still hopes he can get his hands on a rifle-caliber weapon, but for now, this little .38 caliber pop gun will do the trick.

Nice looking. What is he wearing under his armor? I thought the under clothes were pretty limited.

It looks like Road Leather, they are quite good to use as "under armour". :)

Hahha I just looked through my screenshots.. Seems to me the wasteland really takes it's toll on a weary traveller. From a generic fabio to... Something very different!

Thanks. It's the road leathers, for now at least. I'm debating on whether or not this will become his "uniform" or if he'll transition back to old school military fatigues with combat armor at some point. Stat wise, combat armor makes most sense, but I tend to go for aesthetics rather than functionality. I play on lower difficulties, so I can get away with that for the most part :P

Not bad at all! I think she looks a little bit lost in the kevlar helmet, but that's mostly due to female characters having a much smaller neck than I think they should have. Well done. :)

Edit: By the way, what's the outfit under her combat armor in the last screencap? That looks faintly awesome all by itself, what with the chain "necklace" and all...

Wow! What a transformation. I have plans to have the wasteland change Jonah too. A few new scars (nothing grotesque, though), a new haircut, maybe some tattoos...

At the moment, he's still clinging to the outmoded mindset he had pre-deep freeze, but the wasteland is starting to knock him around a bit.

Thank you! :)

Yeah, the helmet makes her look a bit like a bobble head. :) But I need the extra armour it gives at the moment. Trying to find a better head gear or to go without as soon as I can upgrade my armour a bit. :)

Road Leathers is the answear to the awesomeness! :)

Aww. Now I am of disappoint. I wanted to see if it was a different underarmor I could put Jonah into. Looks totally different on a female character. Looks good, though, if I ever roll a female character!

Does anyone know if there is different kinds of road leathers? Its by far my favorite thing to have under my armor, but I swear mine have a horrible checkered undershirt :-O
