When the battle for Anchorage ended, the two mustered out together, got married, and moved as far away from Alaska as they could get in order to start their new lives.

It was not the life Clinton was hoping for, and he had to do it without Nora. Thankfully, he did listen to her when she talked about Power Armor maintenance, which has served him in tremendously good stead thanks to his acquisition of his own suit, which he affectionately has nicknamed http://i.imgur.com/kHe6ARM.png.

The Wasteland is changing Avers, though. While he still maintains and operates a deadly fifty caliber Sniper Rifle with deadly accuracy, the urban nature of war has forced him to become more of a rank and file soldier, http://i.imgur.com/XPfDBA5.png. He has joined with with the group of civilian militia known as the Minutemen, and is working to restore the establishment of the United States Military through them. It is, after all, the only family he has left.

Ripley Molloy enlisted as a grease monkey in the army as soon as the war started, shipped home with a purple heart after her base was over-run, and got a law degree with the GI Bill. She was looking forward to living the American Dream when it all fell apart. (I tend to make... liberal use of the screenshot button when I play these games, let's see if I can narrow this down to a few favorites.)

I really liked the look of the new Vault Suit, but given the circumstances I figured she'd want to change into something with less emotional baggage as soon as possible. She is a inspirational charismatic leader, even though she prefers to wander alone in the wastelands. She is a highly intelligent robotics expert and skilled hacker, and an agile infiltration specialist who prefers to finish off her targets stealthy with her custom .50 sniper rifle, or her trusty suppressed 10mm pistol, and never uses Power Armors.

I don't have the game yet, but here goes;

Naval Santiago is a former resident of Chicago of Filipino descent. His father was a former US navy engineer with a drinking habit. He had siblings, under which a sister called Afríca. Naval studied to be an industrial engineer, but the job market was so poor in that vocation at the time that he instead worked in his father's hardware store for about two years before his father slipped in the harbor and cracked his skull open on the rocks beneath. The family owed protection money to a racketeering gang. With no money to spare, Naval instead offered his services. Not a year had gone by before tragedy struck and Naval's younger sister had been killed by a punk who sought to make even for a perceived slight. Despite the boy's instant regret and fear, Naval's retribution was so brutal that he gained enough notoriety to become a bodyguard and eventually, mouthpiece.

As a mobster, Naval had a very relaxed, cool-under-fire attitude. He preferred to make merry with music and games than by tearing up the street (usually). He plays the guitar as a pasttime, but doesn't seek to challenge himself at all. Stress makes Naval pull cigarettes from his front pocket, usually on the go. Eventually, Naval would have to take an uncharacteristically impulsive action that he wouldn't regret a day in his life.

A misunderstanding arose between two crime families in the city. A young caucasian dame was implicated and her associate would have been able to explain the situation to both parties, weren't it for the fact that he got hit by a stray bullet. Without a savior, Ellie clung to Naval, whom fell in the middle of the conflict more or less by accident. Ellie and Naval ended up going into hiding together, during which time they grew closer. After several years, the two moved from Chicago to Massachusetts to get away from the crime families once the heat was gone.

Ellie was more impulsive than Naval, but only because she had very clear, realistic goals for her life and a mortality-inspired haste to achieve them, in contrast to Naval whom seemed adrift. She is very booksmart, but she can be occasionally naive by thinking that people know what they want as much as she does. She picked up Naval's smoking habit over their time together. She speaks fluid French, Spanish and Italian in addition to English. She tried to learn Russian, but learning a new alphabet was too much of an obstacle.

Formerly part of a http://imgur.com/zKXAMwf.png that fought during the Liberation of Anchorage, Alaska and was part of the final push against the last of General Jengwei's forces. Nearing the end of the battle however, was he attacked by a Crimson Dragoon that was waiting for the opportunity to strike one last time before Chinese defeat and took a deadly blow from an electric sword. Due to his injuries was he finally sent home for his valor in freeing Anchorage from the Chinese invasion, though such an honor did not hide the scars of war mentally and physically. He had hoped returning home to his family would change things for the better, but was only welcomed by the http://imgur.com/zumSTmj.png shortly afterwards.

His time in the wasteland has only further damaged him and http://imgur.com/Agy314P.png in never being able to escape war. But the hopes of finding his son are all that keeps him going, and http://imgur.com/GYVFQOc.png. http://imgur.com/VI6tb6Q.png.

Yes, I enjoyed typing that. And yes, I enjoy showing some character development with my characters. RPGs are fun like that.

Revamp of a pulpy FONV character. He's an open-minded, endlessly enthusiastic and somewhat innocent scientist trying to make the wasteland a better place. He loves building gadgets of all types including guns, but strongly prefers his combat to be up close and personal. Has become obsessed with Nuka Cola since coffee is no longer available. Keeps meaning to learn lockpicking to improve his scavving, but never gets around to it. Hopes to open a home for the rehabilitation of feral ghouls after the Commonwealth is cleaned up.
