It really strikes me again how Little advance there was regarding the graphical textures..just look at the shore with the feral ghoul, it Looks similiar if not worse than in fallout 3...

It may even be a combination of both. If the suit is fully charged, the individual parts are less vulnerable. It the charge goes below a critical point then the individual parts can become damaged or break off.

It's also likely that our own power armor will be far more durable than that of an NPC.

yeah...no, google fallout 3 vs fallout 4 graphics comparison. Fallout 3 doesn't look near as good as you remember.

Also friendly supermutants?!!?!?! Sweet, hopefully they aren't all mindless savages this time

Good screens, but a lot of that speculation doesn't seem to hold up. Just because that Super Mutant is facing the same direction as us doesn't necessarily mean he's friendly with us... although I wouldn't be surprised if we did get friendly Super Mutants. And I don't think the Weapons Workbench requires the Local Leader perk; it's just being highlighted because it's under our crosshairs in workshop mode. The Local Leader perk might be required for the structure shown in the bottom menu.

Visual advancement is WAY down my list of concerns, but I've never considered the eye candy a game displays as overly important.

Both FO3 and FONV had friendly SuperMutants (that could be companions, in fact). New Vegas had a whole settlement of them.

Aside from the protagonist's visuals and the lighting effects there is hardly any difference between F3 and F4 from what we can tell for now, especially regarding the textures of the enviroment or the NPCs.
