No shown six in FO4 please.

really get a reality check people this argument is as silly as someone paying for HBO on their tv and then complains about all the nudity on that channel

preety fed up with this hypocrisy and double standards

if this was only a shooter in a big open world with little or no interaction between the pc and npcs beside killing them in 1001 glorious bloody ways , fine you have a point

But it isn't it is a M rated RPG , not some new testament / approved fairy story

What he said.

And I'm trying to understand why six is so offensive to some people cause I honestly can't wrap my head around the idea that crazy stuff like we've seen in fallout games is ok, but six isn't. Both are parts of the game and both should be depicted accordingly by the developers to deliver a good experience of the fallout universe...

I really doubt there will be six scenes, not even fade-to-black let alone something explicit. Even if it was there I'm sure they wouldn't make it mandatory and even if it WAS mandatory for some reason, I'm sure you could skip the cutscene. I really don't think the people who don't want to see anything have to worry.

I'm not interested in six scenes, but the lack of nudity is a bit odd tbh. A Pitt Raider can be wearing Bombshell Armor which barely covers up the torso of both men and women, but when you loot it they magically wear a t shirt underneath. In New Vegas the casino Gomorrah is supposed to be a den of lust and six yet none of the prosttutes and strippers are nvde. I don't need strippers and hokers in my game, but if they are there they should at least not be wearing a top.

The armor looting thing was handled a bit better in Honest Hearts, at least the tribals there didn't have magical t shirts under what passed for their armor. The women had some sort of makeshift bikini IIRC.

There probably will be implied six. It was there with Nova in FO3, with spouses in Skyrim, and with several prosttutes, Sarah, Red Lucy and Bennie in FONV. The latter wasn't developed by Beth of course, but still.

Perhaps they don't know what the basic moves are so they can't put it into animations.

I don't remember any instance of implied six in Skyrim (heck, you even had to adopt your kids) but either way, non explicit and completely optional for those opposed. :)

No shown killing please. I'd like the game to fade to black whenever I get in a fight, and then afterwards I can see all the bodies of the people I killed without having to see the actual killing. That's the way violence should be done.

Seriously though, why is six worse than violence? This is a mentality that I will never understand.

You have to adopt your kids because of many reasons... for exemple... you don't want your wife companion to be unusable for 9 ingame months, right? And than you would have a baby! And than you need to white several years until the kid is aged...

There should at least be Pin-Up Girls posters scattered throughout the lands. That would be the most fitting and appropriate.

There is a reason why there is so much violence in these games but no six. It's the NPC's as much as they want to have six they can't because their creator hasn't given them any genitals so they have to relieve their anxiety by killing each other.

This, worse if you play a female. Also generates problems with offspring race.

As for six in games this is an part for mods, plenty of fun ones for Oblivion at least. With fun I talk about the surrounding quests.

In regards to six, I'd rather it just fade to black either right away or after a small cut scene or something. As has been said, it's generally just awkward looking and not well done. I think that nudity is another thing, though.

Honestly, I think it should be included. Raiders having clean undergarments always bothered me, along with things like the strippers in NV. Having skivvies be dependent on NPCs would be cool, i.e. Raiders have none, towns people do, crazy guy running around in only whitey tighties, or some variation.

At the same time, I wouldn't be disappointed if it stayed the same as past games. So it's a meh for me, I'd like to see it acknowledged but I wouldn't care much if it was excluded. The good news is now that mods will be allowed on consoles everyone will be able to do what they want.

"Trust me, there's a lot we haven't showed you yet!" - Todd Howard

This is leaked magic insider information, but he was refering to mandatory six cutscenes (and really disturbing ones as well), cutscenes that last for "hours", unless you have a special perk that allows you character to have such poor sixual performance, that it will just "stop" after a minute or so, and the NPC you engaged in the six with will never talk to you again.

If something were added it'd be optional, just like visiting Gomorrah in New Vegas is optional. You are not forced into going in there and looking at the dancers, no ones twisting your arm. Instead of getting offended over optional content and demanding that because it offends you no one gets to have it... how about just not doing it?

To be honest I don't care either way, I'm in my 30's, if it adds to the immersion like in Witcher 3 then great. I don't see a problem, it's what got us here as a species. It's a perfectly natural and beautiful part of life.

If the idea of six makes you uncomfortable then perhaps the issue runs deeper than video games. Just saying.

From what I've seen, that mentality seems greatly overstated around here. Nobody seems to recall how ESRB rated Manhunt 2 AO for its extreme violence while the Sims series (a game where six is an important and necessary part of the game) never went past T and Witcher 3 got an M rating, or Jack Thompson's crusade against video game violence, or the more recent "social justice warrior" outcry against the same (along with anything that can be remotely considered "misogynistic"). After Bethesda's E3, a few people (some of the aforementioned "social justice warriors") even complained about the violence levels in Fallout 4 and Doom.

More to the point, unlike six, killing and over-the-top violence has always been an integral part of the Fallout series even before Bethesda took over. six, and references to it, have also been in the series, but they've have always been used for optional setting immersion and comedy rather than being a key mechanic or selling point. Furthermore, time and effort spent on depicting it would be better spent actually focusing on the more important aspects of the game. Obsidian/Black Isle never needed anything beyond fade-to-black, and neither will Bethesda.

I am frustrated because no one seems to follow the standard set by 1980's action movies in which violence, large explosions, and inappropriately shoehorned in love scenes and nudity where mandatory with almost every R rating.

I would think the extremely unlikely possibility that if FO4 ventures into having advlt situations in game it would also have a in game option to it switch them off.

Here's an idea I have. Have it a toggle-able option. Those who want to see our naked character plowing half the Wasteland can feel free to watch it, while others can be satisfy with a 'fade to black' option. :)

Agree with you here with one exception :

Crazy guys running around in only their once white underwear, let us keep the gritty realism.

It was quite subtle lol. If you slept in the same bed as your spouse the "Lover's Embrace" effect would activate, a stronger version of Well Rested. Whether it was cuddling or six is up to your interpretation of course.

I know it was cut, but people saying that Bethesda Softworks or Bethesda Games Studios never putting six in the video games that they publish and develop is wrong. They wanted to put six in the video games that they developed, but cut the six out for some reason.

They have six in Wolfenstein: The New Order. Not even a scene that fades to black. It actually shows BJ Blaskowitz having six it just does not show every single body part.
