No shown six in FO4 please.

It's a trend M-rated games are following lately. Showing the deed / foreplay cutscene. Ehem...Metro Last Light ehem...
This is something I don't like mixing in my videogames especially not in Fallout. I'm fine with the screen just fading black when you proceed to have six in the game.

Remember when you lost the arm wrestling against a Super Mutant in FO2 then you suddenly end up in the guy's room and when you check your inventory you suddenly have a ball gag in there? That's the way these six scenes should be done.

....never has been in any other Beth game. No reason they'd change that now. They're not CDPR or Rockstar / a company with an "edgy" rep.

Well one way or another, someone's gonna be disappointed where this argument stands.

I doubt they'll put in a six scene. Marriage/adoption seems to be the farthest they'll go in that department.

What is so bad about six? In a way it would make sense in the Fallout video games because it's set in a post apocalyptic destroyed Earth.

I don't see why some people hate six.

It's not the kind of thing Bethesda ever does, but even if they did... just don't do it?

Who are you to demand them to build a game to your own specifications... or better yet, why do you even care? How does an optional act (which you know it would be if it's there) affect you in any way? If you don't like it, don't do it. Simple as.

I can understand why they should be hesitant to put that in. Some people just don't have the urge or need to see it. Personally I don't care either way. I don't think Beth is going to do that though judging from past games.

To be honest, though, I paused and had a laugh.
M-rated game...people getting shot, killed, dark themes ([censored], murder, slavery, genocide, etc), guns and gore...all that's fine.
But the act of procreation is where we draw the line.

I know it looks ridiculous to me.

We accept killing people (NPC's) and stealing in video games, but turn away from six?

I have nothing against six in the game. In fact I want it. I just don't want to see it. Just the fade to black like in FO-NV is preferred. The awkward scenes in BioWare games are just terrible. The Witcher 3 has better scenes, but I'd still prefer a fade to black.

gamesas doesn't really do this, as mentioned. It'll be fade-to-black as always.

If you really want to see it, mods will exist for it, again, as always (well, since Morrowind).

I don't think many people hate six. But many (including me) think animated six scenes look silly and awkward.

That is pretty hilariously ironic. I mean, we had a demo montage of glorified violence (including showing a raider being DECAPITATED by a frickin' teddy bear) yet "OH NOOOOEESS!!" at the idea of fictionalized six between your character and his/her partner. If done well and adds to the story, I don't see why not. So long as it's not 'Heh heh, nakey people having sixy-time' (ie, please handle this maturely, Bethesda), then I'm cool with it.

But yes, as said before me, if this happens, it'll be the classical 'fade to black' and it's to be assumed your character had six.

How about a option in the options menu to enable or disable and censor or uncensor like in The Saboteur video game? Have you ever played The Saboteur video game? It's a video game set in 1940's Nazi occupied France and you can go in the options menu and make the females briasts be censored, uncensored or the females to wear bras or clothes. Same goes for the six if I remember correctly. At least those are the options I remember seeing when I played The Saboteur at my friends house in like 2010.

You can get away with six in a T-rated game. Just look at The Sims series.

True, more explicit representations are considered a lot more controversial, but the same goes for depictions of violence. Manhunt 2 was originally rated AO for its violence levels.

Yeah, six in games always makes me feel like I'm playing a game made by teen boys who don't leave the house much.

Martyr looks longingly out of his apartment window over Post-Apocalyptic Boston sighing with aching longing, 'Fisto, where are you, my love?'

Ahem, I'm sorry, what were you saying, OP?

At the humble age of 30, and this is dawning on me. Depicting violent eviscerations, immolations, decapitations are all well and accepted...

But somehow, six, an act that is highly intimate and is what continues our species, is somehow considered childish and juvenile.

It makes me think of a man walking up to a woman and saying "what you're wearing makes me uncomfortable, I want you to change", when it is HIM himself that makes him uncomfortable.

no disrespect but

who are you to decide what we are allowed to see and what not, if toy feel uncomfortable / insulted by these sort of scenes than maybe m rated games are not something for you

seeing peoples head being blown off is fine real ok but seeing nudity is like the the apocalypse id comming near to you weird

same thing like paying for HBO channel on your tv and then complaining there is too much nudity on that channel
