I know there are problems if you use the console command showracemenu and change your race, but what about your six? I've already leveled up some and was thinking about changing my six using this command. Are there any issues with that?

I don't think there are any Gender related differences in the characters, other than appearance.

However, best to make a forked save before you make any changes with console derived menu commands. Also, not all things that will happen to your character (good or bad) will appear until you save and reload, hence the forked save before you do this.

The main issues with it's use either in console or in script code have been perks, in the past.

One of the DLC's adds a showlimitedracemenu command for that "face sculptor" so using it once per game session is likely safe, assuming one is not a vampire or in the werewolf transformed state.

Fully zeroing those as part of a cure was never done in Skyrim, though it can be done in a mod, as full blown race change is possible in Skyrim.
