You completely missed my point. Apparently a lot of people like Cross more than Clover. Bethesda made the Brotherhood look like end all knights in shinning armor, so people are going to be attracted to that. There's a companion that's in the Brotherhood? AWESOME! But wait...maybe I should change her to be more attractive to me. Uh oh, I'm racist!?!?!?!?

A black, middle-aged follower gets her race and looks overwritten much more frequently then young white chick.

So you can't just go with the idea that that particular modder likes Asian women more so than a black woman? You're a freaking modder for Christ's sake. You change things in the GECK to make certain things appeal more to YOU. That's exactly what they're doing. Cross is a very popular companion. They're probably going to be changed more.

I don't think this topic is appropiate to the forum, maybe that is just my opinion. I think in the end HaloGunner117 put it the best way, there are all kinds of people on the internet. Who knows what their reasons are? Why don't we just leave it at that.

You make a very good point, Expresate, but you also have to take into consideration that not all mods of this nature are as innocent as you think. But, I think you're right about the fact that Paladin being in the BOS being the reason that she is altered more than Clover. She has different dialouge, and is, in my opinion, cooler. But you have to accept the fact that there are just as many mods that are just changing her to look more attractive to the modder as there are mods that change her race for racist reasons.

I'm not against changing them however the modder wants. I personally find her attractive as she is, myself.

But I am against assuming there's a racist conspiracy simply because some people have different preferences. But, then again, racism does exist, should be noted, and then completely ignored. It shouldn't be made into a massive issue. We're starting to move into an age where racism is dying, and it seems to be dying fast. Thanks to the internet, a lot of people are becoming more open minded to new things.

That's why I am against it - racism is dying, and spieling out accusations of it only prolong it's death by a short time. Better to let it die where it lays.

What does "go along with" mean?

Does that mean like, pretend to myself (and pretend on messageboards) that no matter what someone does to the game with the GECK, I think it's just great?

It does not target an individual, so I'd disagree with that.

Perhaps it's annoying some people because they are identifying with it, despite the OP being general.

Better. Though additionally, I'm not a really a fan of making her a "babe" either. I kind of like her as she is -- rugged and experienced.
