Sick of these Trolls!

Post » Wed Jan 06, 2010 1:48 pm

I am fine with Crysis becoming multiplatform. It makes playing the game more easy in some ways and is good if you have a bad PC. But I am sick of these trolls and people hoping for a call of duty game. Or a halo game. These people are so immature to only see this game as another first person shooter. I almost wish crysis 2 was only on PC where it would go back to being serious and skill. Does anyone feel the same as me? Discuss.

I am so glad there are finally some people with the same mentality. I am tired of all of the noobs with their noobtubes, LMGs, gaymores, nade spam, tanks, knives, gay perks, OP shotguns, mortar strikes, and killstreaks. COME ON, make a real game like Quake or UT. Crysis Wars was a real game that I actually found to be pretty balanced besides the times entire teams got into tanks and air. But of course you could freeze handfuls at a time and then you get called a noob for freezing them (wtf?). Sure gaymores are pretty overused in Crysis, and I would say that they should be removed but the majority of stuff in Crysis is avoidable. There are no Instant 1-hit kill noob weapons. The only thing I could see done to Crysis is maybe a little more noob friendly so more people are attracted to the game.

It would be a miracle if they didn't remove the unique Crysis gameplay from Crysis. What I mean by this is the strafing, speed/strength versatility, and the laser. These made Crysis one of the best FPS games I have ever played.

I have yet to figure out why people like playing halo so much...

The only thing I would change in crysis is to sync up the audio better in multiplayer. I hate getting shot and then hearing the gun a second later.
although this is probably my internet connections fault.

This is a unique game, people need to stop seeing it as just another CoD or Halo game, and take this franchise for what it really is. I understand moving to the console market, but these console kiddies (example: codbundy), asking 800 questions about it being similar to other franchises are getting infuriating.

Wow I half expected to be flamed. Thanks for the support and the maturity. I will be honest. I am one of those people with a bad pc. I bought crysis and warhead on steam earlier this year and plan to buy a great rig this summer. Possibly in the next two weeks. And I want to thank you all for the support. I am sick of all these idiots that think they know everything only because they successfully preordered the game for their xbox. They don't qualify as fans and if they expect a call of duty clone, look at medal of honor or sonething else. As stated above by flamers, crysis is crysis. I hope it doesn't change. Sorry for the double post. The above one was an accident. Confusion.

Agreed with OP. When people see aliens and think "this must b lyke halo," I lose more and more hope for the future of gaming...

Yuo waz trollin!!!

:P

tbh, the opening of the franchise to console saw this to be expected. Games like COD and Halo are huge on the console market and they really don't have much else to compare Crysis to.

Crysis is a game of its own, yes, but they don't know about it yet :)

it'd be nice if the forum was decided up into sections by platform.
Keep the console people away from the people who want to seriously discuss crysis 2

To add on with the plus's:

+999999999999999999999999999999999

:P

But seriously, I can assure this game won't become a COD or Halo shooter. I doubt it will. Crysis is it's own, not a copy of some other shooters. When these new players experience Crysis, they will most likely hate it, because their not use to the way it's meant to be played.

I think these trolls we've seen are probably just having a laugh, I wouldn't take them so seriously.

If you guys can mod crysis, you can surely acquire an IP adress and a location. Send him a picture of his house from google earth :P

Yeah, codbundy (As example.) is asking some things that indicate he'd like another crappy balanced n00b CoD game or a halo. He even asked "Are there predator missiles and care packages in crysis 1?" lol.

I've never played the first version of this game though I hope to find a copy for my PC. I can completely agree with not wanted another MW or COD online shooter. I only played the single player campaigns of those games and then traded the games in as I can't stand the online shooter nonsense that came with those games. It reminds me a bit too much of the community found in GTA based games. They should have just titled them Call of Grand Theft Warfare, or digital dog poop.

So it seems another has popped out of nowhere. ?,?

I'd like some confirmation if this is the same guy, cause the topics that are coming along are exactly the same as the other guy.

Hopefully somebody can give some insight.
