Side-Quests

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 7:48 am

Hey guys im new to the forums this will be my first topic that ive started, i was wondering if you think Skyrim is going to have as many side quests as Oblivion had? I remember that Oblivion had a ton, and I had a lot of fun trying to find and complete all of them.

Well, you've heard of Radiant Story right? It'll add/create plenty of side quests for us to do based on how we play the game and the decisions we'll make. Will it be endless? I sure hope so :)

Oh, and welcome to the forums! I'd give you a tasty fishy stick, but I'm afraid I'm not qualified.

Alright cool thanks for the replies guys, yea im sure Bethesda will have plenty of side quests in mind for the game, thats one of the things ive always loved about rpg's, the ability to venture off the main quest and find other, smaller missions, it makes the game a lot more fun and interesting, they sure did a heck of a job with it in Oblivion, thats for sure.

I don't expect to see any shortage of side quests in Skyrim, I don't know if Radiant Story quests will be infinitely repeatable or not, but if they're not, then I'm sure there will be a lot of them. One thing I can certainly say about the Elder Scrolls is that I havn't complained about not having enough side quests in any game in the series. Now, we'll see what level of quality we'll get from Skyrim's side quests, but at least in terms of quantity I don't expect to find the game lacking.

We don't know. Probably won't until November. Anything prior to that will be a claim made in some demo or press release, and you can ask folks who remember the pre-release hype about "Oblivion's Radiant AI" how those can turn out.

I hope there will be sidequest that won't tell you what to do from start to end, like that one in oblivion where you found wine of somekind, I spend weeks until I randomly went to tavern where someone told what to do with that.

And talking about fishy sticks... No one never gave me one :cryvaultboy:
