LIBRARIUM ENTRY #98,826.
LIBRARIAN Sir Water Carlton.
TOPIC Sigma Squad.

"The Enclave has long been my life and i hope that it remembers me for longer than it takes for this disk to wear out and die. The mission we embark on soon will be my last, I know thats the way it will progress, I will make it so that is the way it progresses. i was born alone but I will die part of a team, I want everyone in that team to know that this was not your fault but it was my time, I hope you all can make better use of my meager possessions than i was able to. Firstly Capt John, I leave you my greatest respect and wishes for the future, I will also leave you my biography of Napolean Boniparte, you are so much like him. Jalen, I never knew you well nut i give you my trusty 10mm I know with your weapons you wont need it but if all else fails have it there. Simon what can I say its thanks to you that Im writing this now and not years ago, to you i leave my deepest thanks and my copy of the DC journal of medicine. Ben you wished to die for your cause and assuming you found something to live for i leave you my first rifle, maybe you could get it working again, no-one else ever could. Sandra, you shattered every pre-conception I had about you and even though its not as pristene and effective as your blades I leave you my Machette. Isaac, don't blame yourself for this you just helped me realize what i needed, you have the potential to be the greatest sniper we have seen in this great force and i hope you have room to take my Sniper along for the ride. Goodbye and remember me, I hope I give you cause to."

Ryan stared at the letter, this history that seemed so close, yet it is now lost. The soldiers and warriors of Sigma are lost, and the Enclave, the nations one hope, has faded away into memory. 100 years it has been since the fall of Enclave, and now, the Brotherhood will fall as well...They have extended their power to far, they have bitten off more than they could chew, and now they will pay the price. The ideals that this cult had once stood for have all but vanished, and now they stand for corruption and greed. Democracy will prevail, the weak shall unite, The Enclave will rise again, under a new name, under a new flag, behind the might of Sigma Squad. Remember this day Ryan, the day that justice once again returns to the wasteland...

This RP takes place 100 years after the fall of the Enclave, and the Brotherhood is the enemy, and you will be the new soldiers and citizens of this fine republic, we will need all the help we can get, for all the peoples of the Capital Wasteland who under the brutal rule of the Brotherhood of Steel have a stake in this fight. Unite my brothers, Talon Company, Regulators, Outcasts, Slavers, Raiders, Rivet City, and Sigma Squad, throw aside your differences, and join the revolution!

I like this idea, it's a setting fertile for expansion.

Why don't you detail a bit about how the landscape has changed. If you're taking the Good Ending as canon The Enclave was all but wiped out. The BOS lost Liberty Prime but one could assume did well with no Enclave left to slow them down.

You can set up as thorough of a scenario as you please, and the more of a scenario you set up the more there will be for readers to catch on to. What happened in the Tenpenny Tower, Rivet City, Big City, Lamplight, Republic of Dave, etc. etc.

Setting the Enclave as the "good" guys and the BOS as a corrupted superpower is an interesting idea too.

Yea I thought it sounded a little too vague, all these settlements are of course, being oppressed by the might of the BoS, except for Tenpenny Tower, of course

Put up a CS sheet for people to go off of. It will look more like a sign up and less of an idea.

Give us a rough outline of the areas under BoS control, make it a separate section. Call it something like Territory. Call this first part the Plot: Make another part that say Your Role. Make it more clear what the player is suppose to be doing. A time line if you want, but not necessary, helps some people visualize. Rules aren't needed but gives it that sign up feel. All this increases the likelihood of sign up. Most of it is eye candy.

Yea, I just wanted to see what people thought of the base story, and whether they had any pointers, which you have given me, so thanks!

No prob. You should go ahead and make the sing up, with all the holidays people are likely to have some free time, and since there's only two up and their already running, you might be able to get some people. Put it up tonight and check in the morning to see if anyone joined. Or afternoon. I live on the West Coast my morning is your afternoon.
