I wonder if this will get closed. Probably not because it's positive rather than negative feedback and Bethesda likes to censor negative feedback.

I hope not. I'm trying to deposit some positive feedback into a mostly negative forum.

I voted 'maybe', mostly because there are some things I really do miss from Morrowind and the faction/main quest lines are a bit too short for my liking, but with mods and time Skyrim will probably end up being the king of the hill.

Agreed. From what I've seen the main quest is rather short, but wow..the side quests, the other quests..almost 300 pages total of quests covered in the OSG..thats a lot of questing!! I am only thru the first act..not even done completely exploring one zone of all primary locations and am already level 12. This game will keep me busy for years, as I am a completist. Might drive my wife insane, but oh well!

The civil war and the Thalmor have toyed with my emotions in a video game like none before it has.

For the first time I have an enemy in a video game that violates every principle that I live by, and must be mercilessly put down.

At the same time I'm looking for a peaceful solution to end this stupid civil war, to unite the kingdoms against the thalmor.

Maybe, I need to play it more.

BUT even after playing more I may not be able to answer a direct yes or no. You see, TES is my favorite game series. TES lets me live and roleplay inside each of its video game worlds. Sure, Bethesda has taken the Fallout series in the same direction, which I love, but I have a preference for the fantasy setting of TES. Right now, I'm loving every minute of playing Skyrim. Meanwhile, I still have modding plans and character ideas for the previous games to do at a later date... Hey, I can't help it!

I have to say...they are my favorite series as well. Aside from the early Final Fantasy games, I have not spent more time on any other series. I think I logged close to 1,000 hours in Oblivion.

Skyrim is epic.

I've played Morrowind, Oblivion and LOVED THEM and now Skyrim, whilst yes it's a bit simpler in terms of skills/abilities, is just awesome. Love it.

SOME folk on this forum just find it cool to complain.

Wow..thanks everyone. I really appreciate all the votes. I agree, can't make everyone happy no matter what, but dang, I'm sure happy with the game, and I'm glad to see others are as well. I can't even imagine how much time and effort was put into this game. The people that made this game probably had no life aside from development for the last 3 years. Kudos peeps.

Easily the most entertaining, best written, and deepest TES game.

Umm... You're probably going to get a lot of people voting on this poll who think it's funny to select multiple/all options. It's not limited to only one choice, but each choice is exclusive (not more than one can be true simultaneously). I vote Maybe. It's best in some ways, others are best in other ways.

Don't get me wrong, I love Skyrim. It is the best out of all the games, I feel (It's like a mix of Morrowind and Oblivion in my opinion) but holy balls it'd be nice to have the CK. Modding is as much a part of the game as playing is!

A quick look at the forums shows that statement to be false :P

Why is this a multiple answer poll? I checked every one of them, because I could.
