Realistically speaking, this won't change Crytek's intention of releasing games to the console.

Only data I have seen is from UK retail thats it. There were no DD numbers released so u cant assume anything.
Also look at the number of populated servers and number of players playing.

Crysis 2 has sold 1,191,111 physical copies. Crysis 1 has sold over 3.5 million physical copies. Crysis 2 sales have already plummeted on the PC to a mere 16,000 sold this week and console sales will die out by the end of next month.

Everybody, Crysis 2 is a financial success!!!! YAY!!!

Lets lump on the part where PC-digital sales net 3 times the profit of a console retail sale and Crysis 2 is a pretty big financial flop at this point.

Although I totally agree, its not going to happen. The ONLY way to get this to work would be to "convince" (you'll never pull that off legitimately) high-level EA bosses to ALLOW for more focus on PC.

It's the best we can go off of until Crytek/EA releases official numbers which they seem to be taking a good long time to do.

Not PC exclusive but PC Focused yes, hopefully they release it with the current technology whenever Crysis 3 comes out.

Yep......So crytek are going to only make Crysis 3 on pc for less sales, so they can screw over all the console players that just got interested in the game and so Console Players never trust crytek as a multiplatform developer ever again (which is beneficial for their multiplatform games that will be coming out. If crytek do have to drop a platform it will be pc and you guys know that. Plus Crytek wouldn't even be able to do it if they wanted to, it's EA you wanna be trying to convince and even if you got 70,000 sigs it isn't going to change anything.

If you really want something, make a petition just for them to follow Dice's example for battlefield 3 and make it focused primarily on PC but still with lots of thought going into the console versions like your latter option which could still (......maybe) be possible.

I agree with LEXOR TAKEMAN. This is just silly. What you want Crytek to do is to leave all profitable markets and focus on much less profitable one. That will not happen. I`m also PC fan and I dont like C2 at all. Still enjoy C1 and warhead though. But Im also realistic about today situation. You can make much more money producing for consoles. Of course we can still enjoy some games on pc but its almost all ports from consoles. When Blizzard make a move to consoles then PC is 100% dead.

Of course they do. For some reason my threads always attract attention from them.

Those of you whining about "they will never go exclusive" with Crysis 3, you need to read a bit deeper. I don't necessarily ask for a PC exclusive, just a bigger PC focus is what we are looking for, like the direction and attitude Battlefield 3 has taken. Crytek could really learn a lot from how they are handling their game.

PC exclusive is dead; it's all about the money. Reputation has fallen to a far second. Crytek lost their reputation by setting the bar so high from Crysis 1. If they are still considering Crysis 3 for the PC in the future they can keep their console crap.
